If they could be reused, recycled or returned for some credit back I may go for this but doing the math it comes out to about $12 more for roughly the same I could get with 2 1/2 4-packs. I would rather put that towards more beer than an empty keg I can't really do anything with.

Does anybody know how long their mail shipping takes? I'll be in VA Beach from Thursday-Monday and was considering getting a delivery sent to the place I'll be staying, but I want to try to time it so it doesn't arrive too early or late.

I have no idea about the shipping, but where you will be in VB? The Norfolk Veil location will probably be 25-30 mins away from a lot of places in Virginia Beach. You can order curbside and select a specific pick up time or just go and grab cans.

I'll be further down toward Sandbridge Beach. If I was driving myself I'd definitely just do that, but I'm getting picked up at the Norfolk airport by my girlfriend's family and will feel a little awkward asking them to drive 40 minutes out of the way so I can pick up some beers.

Well the NFK airport is only about 15 mins away from the Veil, but I think your point remains the same. haha. Sandbridge is a ways out there, sort of by itself.
I'd think the shipping to VB would be quick given the relative proximity to RVA, but I have no personal experience with it.

Veil's website says to allow 2-4 days for orders to be processed and they ship only to locations where it will be delivered once shipped in 2 days or less. Going on that, I would say it would be a safe bet if an order is placed tomorrow then it would arrive sometime during your stay. For both Triple Crossing and Veil I have seen people who live in NOVA and Hampton Roads post them receiving their orders just 1-2 days after they placed it. Might want to reach out to Veil to ask yourself to be sure.

Forest Hill location opening Nov. 7th
    _______________________

We are so excited to announce the Grand Opening of our Forest Hill location on Saturday, November 7th starting at 12pm!! ⠀

This two story location will have 2 bars (one on each floor), an indoor/outdoor 2nd floor patio, tons of safely spaced indoor seating, and plenty of outdoor seating. This location offers a 30 tap draft list of weekly rotating beers from The Veil. 20 of those 30 beers on draft will be available at the second floor bar. In addition to those beers we will have a small selection of guest taps, cider and wine by the bottle. We also have a conveniently located to-go/outdoor service pick-up window if you want to swing by! ⠀

Forest Hill hours will mimic our OG Taproom in Scotts Addition. Tuesday-Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 12pm-9pm, Sunday 12pm-6pm and CLOSED on Mondays. ⠀

We want to make this a safe experience for everyone and follow health guidelines so we highly recommend making a reservation if you’d like to visit. Outdoor seating will be first come, first serve and we will have a few tables indoors reserved for walk-ins only as well. Reservations are now available on our website’s main page. @ytumama.mx will be serving the best Mexican food daily so make sure to come hungry! ⠀

Stay tuned for grand opening merch announcements. We can’t wait to share this space with you!

Is there going to be any semblance of a Dark Daze this year?

I think at this point its going to look similar to what they did for the Anniversary. Scroll back to post #155 for a list of bottles being released for this year.

Ver true. The cellar sales were a shitshow and I expect DD to be no different. Hoping they do one big drop and not spread out like they did for the start of Anniversary.

I argued (unsuccessfully) about the need for bottle limits when the Enchanced Truffle sold out in 10 seconds. They responded and said it was a stocking issue and they needed the inventory space.

Do you work for the Veil? Not to sound sarcastic but I wasn’t going to voice my displeasure over their online beer sales system on a public forum. The beers are awesome it’s just the system in place for sales that frustrates me.

So - saw the bottles - not being from there, how did the anniversary work? Just order online and pickup? I have black friday off - so thinking of driving down, but will depend on how it's going to work.
