The list price on that 2019 option was $109.96 - $20 in taxes in fees is ugly...

I disagree. MORE COCONUT!!!! I hope they're following the Epic model. Last year was double coconut, this year is triple coconut, next year is quadruple coconut. If they reach quintuple coconut, I might need to take out a mortgage.

There was a service fee of $8.66. For me, it was worth the convenience.

Heck yeah - $1/can to reserve and hold it with a 2-week pickup window is totally worth it. It just keeps adding up, and adding up, etc...

I remember being extremely let down by 2018 regular. Was 2019 a massive improvement or something? If not, I have no idea how people are excited about this.

I thought 2019 was and has remained a fantastic vintage of Benthic. I've always like Benthic, however so maybe you'll need someone less predisposed to the beer. Either way, I'm amped to try snagging some tomorrow. As I recall, the sale lasted almost a full half hour or something last year, right??

2018 is definitely the weakest year, 2019 was a return to form for me. I went easier on the sale given how disappointed I was in 2018 and regretted not getting more of the regular last year.

I thoroughly enjoyed 2019. So much that I snagged a second 2-pack in the wild. Does that make me feel inclined to buy this package of more and more coconut? Not really, but they'll sell out all the same and I've said more than once I wasn't interested in a beer release only to buy it later anyways...

I personally think it has gotten better each year (I honestly didn't think the first batch was all that impressive). But I thought '19 was fantastic and am looking forward to it being at least as good.

2018 was my first time trying it and definitely a letdown when my friends said it was one of their top beers at 2017 FOBAB. I didn't get the hype but then last year's was definitely much better and will be on the site at 10am tomorrow

Good to hear, because I remember it being really good in 2017. Wondered wtf happened.

    So just to summarize:

    Option 1:
    4x Benthic
    2x Vanilla
    2x Xtra
    1x Cherry
    1x Old Ben

    Option 2:
    4x Benthic
    2x Vanilla
    2x Xtra

Just easier for me to visualize as a list.

Yeah - and I like to set price parameters for myself ahead of time too, so if the prices are 'out of whack' for me, I feel better walking away from it. (I'm on a budget @stevegoz !)
If they hold to last years' pricing of ~$12.50/can for regular and ~$15/can for variants, the packages should be ~$140 and ~$110, respectively, before taxes and fees.
(putting them at ~$165 and ~$130 with taxes and fees)
I expect them to be near the same, so I'll still split with my bud @tiffman . Plus, if regular is really good, I can get some more at retail. (but that might eat into my Rev budget... dammit!)

They also have 2 T-shirts available one is plain looking and the other looks like a dog walked through a puddle of ink and then walked on a white T-shirt.
