Half Acre (2020)

What an awful release. Shame on Half Acre for waiting until the last minute to release the link with purchase requirements.

 

Do you get an email? I have not gotten an email nor a confirmation page. Do I keep trying? Any advice appreciated!

 

Yes, 1 email confirmation. The sale finally went through after I manually entered a different cc. But, 3 pending charges total.....going to wait to take further action until the 2 erroneous charges are hopefully removed.

 

Tock's processing system probably isn't equipped for that many payments trying to go through at once. I have six pending charges (not worried) and a confirmation e-mail. Will return the glass when I pick up my beers.

 

I got a confirmation email with a time at Balmoral

 

Although now I have to make my way into the city on a Tuesday at 3:30 for pickup!

 

Man, while everyone was bitching about this HA stuff I went to the DLD site and bought one of each of this years variants.

 

I suggest keep trying if you haven’t seen a confirmation page (i.e., your payment hasn’t gone through)

 

Finally got through with confirmation, think I have close to 10 pending charges. Love Half Acre but no words for this release, last year was smooth sailing compared to this cluster

They overpaid

 

Just got mine to go through for Lincoln on Sunday afternoon. Glass and Truffles were sold out, guess waiting paid off.

 

Balmoral now showing the 10 packs are sold out... I have no idea wtf is going on.

 

I loved this release. Hit the meta-zeitgeist PERFECTLY.

 

Screw all you loopers who bought 3 to 10 packages each....

 

I guess CC roulette worked cuz I finally got a 10 pack at Lincoln. That was insane. I think I have 10 pending charges with Chase.

 

I've never seen so much bitching about being required to purchase a dessert when buying dessert stouts.

 

Super easy to snag a 10 can allotment at Lincoln now with no extras needed.

 

I messaged them basically saying i'm proxying for somoene that didn't use my name in the order and they said given the circumstances of hte release they will be lenient with stuff. I'd imagine if you reach out and say I had the time I needed but you required me to buy truffles which were out of stock, they will let you come whenever.

 

My friend got charged twice with no email so there might be a lot of packs coming back in... or he gets nothing and two refunds.

 

The reason lincoln has some left is becuase up until 5 minutes ago, the glass was "required" to buy but sold out, so nobody could buy anything from lincoln.
