Seems like it. I could go for a set of Picture in Reverse. In addition to ANTEAD and the Anniversary Belgians, of course.

I will say its pretty good. If you have had the Pumpkin Cold Brew or Hot Coffee from Rook it pretty much tastes just like that. Doesn't taste overly gimmicky at all

it makes me sad that we don’t get Rook down here in the wastelands (South Jersey). The native New Englander in me loves Dunkies as much as the next guy but let’s be real: it’s total shit compared to any decent local spot

Whoa whoa whoa @tzieser do not confuse the meadowlands with south jersey. Pine barrens, farmland, the less Jersey shore’d out parts of the shore. I love this place to much to let some masshole trash it :stuck_out_tongue:

I do agree there are a lot of great coffee shops around here but I do wish one was like room with multiple locations. Also the fact that it’s all pour over guarantees fresh coffeee which is an issue an any place. Rook does have a great system.

Hahaha! Ah I hope you know me trashing NJ in general is all in good fun. It’s tough love. You’re absolutely right there is a whole lot to enjoy about this state in general (I’ve been “stuck” here for 4 years so it can’t be that bad, right?). If it weren’t for the pinelands, IBSP (not exactly “South Jersey”, I kno), etc I’d be going absolutely crazy.

I admit I haven’t been to any good independent coffee places here. I’ve heard Revolution coffee is good. I used to hit up La Colombe over in Fishtown quite a bit because they’re a quick 20 min drive over the bridge from me. Amazing coffee, amazing food. Wish they’d open up a spot over here. Seems like it would fit in perfectly in Haddonfield, Moorestown or some other yuppie town lol.

As are my comments to haha both towards my northern NJ brethren and Mass.

Harvest coffee in Medford used to be the best but their prices just kept creeping up and up and I could bring myself to pay for their 12 oz bags anymore.

well sorry to derail guys...to keep it on Kane. Cool to see 500 ml bottles. If they stick around a while maybe I’ll order one or two for delivery if they last.

Wow, just realized these are only 500ml bottles, sold individually. And also that they are back to only one stout and one strong ale this time.

I was about to say it seems like they made less this year, but then it's only a limit of 4x each. Not feeling like doing the math this early...

The stout is German Chocolate Cake.

My only question is, home delivery is locally to Kane only, right?

Home delivery is local to Kane in the regards that it's NJ only.

I had the German Chocolate Cake back in March (assuming it's the same as the BA German Chocolate Cake they were pouring on-site) and it was delicious.

Anyone have any idea how this will work for home delivery? Since the purchase for these is through Eventbrite but the Kane delivery website is something totally different?

Your question was sort of answered, but Kane pretty much hits the entire state throughout the week now. So I assume you'd have to just have them delivered the day that they are coming to your county, or any day if your are Monmouth. Was hoping they would keep these in 750s, don't mind the 500s but wish they cost was a bit less as its pretty much the same as the 750s of the past anniversary releases (if I am correct). I wonder if ANTEAD will move to 500ML too. While the cost is a bit more here, can't totally complain seeing as stuff like Morning Bell is $9 a 500 where a comparable offering at some other places would run you double

I've liked the move to 500ml for these big boozy bombs. Much easier to go through one bottle by yourself than a 750ml, which can be a challenge to finish.

Hmmm...so no where does it say how long a window you have to add your eventbrite purchase to a delivery order. Are we assuming it has to be the same week as pickup at brewery? So you basically have a week to order a delivery?

Yea. . . .especially as they didn't make you buy as a set this time this surprised me. Either they made a shit ton or the demand is surprisingly low. That being said people slept on last years anniversary stout and it was better than last year's anteads in my opinion.

    +1

I also had the german chocolate cupcake at the brewery and it was really really good IMO.

Not a bad thing if these hang around to pick up as gifts for the holidays
