I have already gone through the directory for Rhode Island and Mass. but wanted to get other peoples perspectives/suggestions too. It has been my expereince that you cant always rely on reviews alone as locals tend to embellish their local watering holes.

I am heading out on Tuesday March 20 and staying until Thursday March 22. I am probably going to spend on night in Providence then the second night in/around Attleboro or Foxborough.

People's Liquor Warehouse in Warwick (just south of Providence) has a large selection of crafts. A lot of Belgians and whatever RI gets for distribution, expect for Nebraska for some reason, definitely check the bottled on dates for the beers you would want/expect to be fresh, I have had a bad experience or two there (they are very good about excepting returns, though, I brought a skunked 6pk back and they let me exchange it no problem). A couple of guys know what their talking about and are happy to chat.

If you want variety--hit up Wines and More in Wareham. One of the biggest selections I have seen around here.

The BA Decadence is awesome if they have it, its a double IPA aged in woodford reserve barrels IIRC.

Yankee Spirits in Swansea, just East of Providence on 195 off exit 3. They have a huge selection, and Ray the Beer Guy manages his stock very well. They still have most of the Cisco Woods stuff on the shelf, as well as fresh hop goodness like Flower Power. Cheers!

Thanks for the info, but coming from NY, I can get fresh Flower Power almost everywhere. I am hoping to score some beers that dont distribute in upstate NY or are hard to find. I will definitely check it out though, Thanks.

Whats your route game-plan? if you plan on going 95 to route 3 down to the cape I can make a few recommendations. Granite and the union brewhouse are right off the highway in weymouth, Mayflower is down in plymouth and they are now open everyday for growler fills. Two new beer bars are open in downtown plymouth plus the BBC in downtown plymouth has decent selection.

Snag some Mayflower Spring Hop. It is fresh, dank and one of the best kept secrets of MA. Look for Jacks Abbey if you can find it and dont forget to snag a bomber or two from Cambridge Brewing

Yankee has plenty of stuff that doesn't get down to New York. I tgink he was using Flower Power as an example, or wasn't clear where you're from.
Nikki's liquors also has a good selection as far as bottle shops go.

    Julios in Westboro is better.

On the subjects of Wines & More and Yankee Spirits, the former has a location in Mansfield and the latter has one in Attleboro, either of which might be closer depending on your route. Both have really good selections: W&M's is better but they're also more expensive, whereas YS often has some really good deals.

I figured I would let everybody know that I did my part to stimulate the MA and RI economies. Between dinners and bottle purchases, I left about $250 bucks on the counters of multiple places.

I personally would like to call out NAS5755 and BREWEDAWAKING for their excellent suggestions. I made a killing at Yankee Spirits in Swansee MA and picked up a couple of six packs of Spring Hop at Mayflower.

FYI...Mayflower Brewing has a nice, shiny, new 100BBL tank sitting just outside of their building. When I spoke to the girl in the retail shop, she stated it is suppose to get installed within the next two weeks. More beer for the Masses.
