Half Acre (2020)

Balmoral pickup was smooth - Benthic is in the back of the cafe (meaning you can bypass the take out/cafe line). Packaging is great - HA went all out! For coffee drinkers I recommend an Americano with the Dark Matter BA beans.

And, apparently that issue with their website is only on my phone (Safari). HA checked and everything was running fine on their end.

 

So are they done figuring out all the Benthic stuff? Looks like I may have struck out

 

Only two. I probably could have gotten in eventually, but I didn't want to go broke in extra charges.

Speaking of which, I still haven't gotten a refund on those.....

 

Sounds like you need to reach out. Seems like they've been really good about refunding and honoring the package if possible.

 

Any idea how the proxy pickup works? Just have my proxy show my order number?

 

I just picked up a proxy. Just showed order number and my ID. It was pretty easy

 

Drank a bottle of Grand Cru Champagne then toured the hood with some fresh Benthic. Feeling great about everything.

 

Drinking an Orin right now. Very tasty old ale. Love the brandy barrel addition. Hoping to catch Benthic in distro when the dust settles. Wouldn't complain if we see Burl again soon.

What do you drink when you're only half celebrating? Should I mix some malört in with the champagne?

 

You fool. The cadence is always “champagne, malort, champagne,” unless, of course, you have personally done something wrong.

 

Vanilla Benthic tastes like a vanilla milkshake - like the pamphlet states. Thiccccc. Was a lot to take down solo. Reminded me of: “I don’t know if it’s worth five dollars but it’s pretty fucking good!”
