The 12th edition of Mott the Lesser has had a resplendent “lying down” in oak barrels, the newest addition being two toasted gin barrels from Vermont, while we retained the use of port, madeira, and cherry brandy barrels for the blend. While cherry, stone fruit & Belgian chocolate predominate the aromatics, flavors of chocolate covered cordials, Swiss nougatine, vanilla and gentle botanicals gratify the palate and round out our imperial stout.

It's the same as last time, though it seems as if you have to option to head up at allocated times the day of and get your bottles. I don't know if you have the option for just one bottle online, but I just got two and asked them to be set aside (an option). Kittery is like 30 minutes from Idaho. Maybe I'll keep an eye on the to-go list in the next couple weeks and coordinate a nice little haul.

Ordered bottles too. ZERO clue when I’ll be up there again, likely not until spring 2021. Hell, by the time I head up to get the fall 2020 bottles, the spring ‘21 release will probably available too.

Seems like they'll hold them six months. You might be picking up four bottles.

Not such a bad deal. Much quicker drive than Idaho.

Really wish this didn't use cherry brandy barrels again.

Had a pour on the Tributary patio Saturday. Interesting batch to say the least.

    Say more!

Also, I think I might head up this weekend to grab my bottles. My question was about Spruce Creek Provisions. Is that the spot to grab a small haul of Maine beers (or beers distro'd there, but not Idaho)?

Yes! Definitely hit up Spruce Creek provisions for their bottle selection. Anthony has some great shit in his store. We actually worked together years back when I hired him to our old sales team for a consulting firm. Good guy!

Yeah they were. Quite tasty too but certainly with a little heat coming through. Even better is you can grab a five ounce pour if not looking for a full pour.

I’m scheduled to pick up this Thursday afternoon and my email sternly instructs me to stay the hell inside the car. So, maybe pours is just a weekend thing?

Just realized I still haven't picked up my bottles from the Spring 2020 release. Does anyone know if they are still holding those for pickup?

as far as |I know they are. A friend of mine is in the same boat - he sent them an email a couple weeks back and they said they will be keeping them for the forseeable future (obviously don't wait years to go...) I would shoot them a message just to verify.

I got my bottles set up for B12 - Don't know when I'm going to get up there. I went about a month ago for my B11 bottles - no problems at the brewery, and we hit lunch at When Pigs Fly, as well as walking around a couple places nearby as well.

    From Tributary FB:

will be putting Fall 2020 on today and it will be on tap all next week for pickups. We have limited outdoor seating and still not permitted to have indoor seating, so it is first come, first serve. Limit remains at 2 pours per person. Cheers!

And, in fact, I got my bottles and I got my short pour! (I didn’t get any heat, but I definitely got the chocolate-covered cherries).

Then I stopped at Deciduous and then I stopped at Spyglass because way home, right?

Starting November 16th, Massachusetts residents are booted from Maine (again). This is my incentive to head up and (legally) grab my bottles.
