    Tonight is my wife’s French TV marathon, three hours of shows she really enjoys. This gives me the opportunity to stream a movie she would have no interest in watching with me. In this case it’s Train To Busan, in which South Koreans try to survive the zombie apocalypse. For some reason, I really never get tired of writing or saying zombie apocalypse.

    Currently drinking Augustijn Donker Brune by Brouwerij Van Steenberge. It’s 8.0% and the last of my mixed six pack from the brewery. Will definitely pick up a few more of these sixers for over the winter before they disappear from my market. Cheers.

    Polly's Brew (UK) - The One You Can't Control.

    I don't think I've ever had a straight up sweet and juicy tropical fruit punch NEIPA from Polly's and that's what I love about them, their brews are always a little more interesting than that, with this striking a great balance of some juicy tropical and more earthy, herbal and slightly resinous hops.

    Worked a few hours today at my old place of work, stringing up rope to hang Xmas trees. Got good money for four hours of work (all by myself), but my nearly 64-year old body, artificial knee, and left arm full of metal feel the climbing of ladders and tugging on ropes and tie-straps. So, having a late Lunch and some Black Maple Hill Straight Oregon Rye Whiskey (purely for medicinal purposes)...
