    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Coal black body; very thin head, patchy and wispy; small sheets of foam cling to the glass. Very faint aroma; a suggestion of whiskey barrel; extremely delicate note of roasted grain. Bitter chocolate and bourbon greet the taste buds; leather; cocoa and vanilla. Heavy body; smooth and oily on the palate; bold alcohol warmth offsets the moderate residual sugar presence.

    I wasn't impressed initially with this beer, but after it warmed up and opened up, the taste and mouthfeel really came to the forefront. The low-key smell lets one down a bit, and it's somewhat understandable about the weak head due to the high ABV, but the taste and mouthfeel do a fine job of making this an enjoyable blended, barrel-aged imperial stout.

    I went to sleep around 8AM and woke up around 4 PM. So it was a good nap. I texted my girlfriend since I woke up, so we are going to try and do a Skype video call at 9PM, but she's been having computer problems. I've discovered she's not so computer savvy through our conversations. I am going to have to teach her about how to solve computer problems I guess. I was almost a Computer Engineer when I went to college, but I changed to Mechanical on orientation week. I seem to be the person providing computer help for my whole family, except for my Dad. Going to smoke my bong now, my sister is going to grab another quarter for me tomorrow. I still have the kief preroll and a few grams left here now. :+1::+1::+1:

    Hard to tell what Phanerozoic album I prefer more at this point. I've been replaying this track all day. Fucking good bass as well.
