    Any idea how many VRU or Rare 15 units 3F vintage 17 or Platinum blend are going for? They are still available for sale at 3F.

    I’m gonna piggyback on this question. How big of a plus would it take along with DB Anabasis or RBBT to land TWCP derivation?

    DB Anabasis would need a smaller plus, but probably 1 VRU. RBBT is coming up in value, but based on previous trades maybe 1.5-2 VRU. Most of the people with TWCP seem to be trading for whiskey, specifically WLW. As values drop I wonder if those holding a bottle will trade for other good beer offers. DBA and RBBT are great anchors to get it done though.

    Hey all, I haven't been paying attention to what's been dropping this year and would appreciate any recommendations you have.

    I'd like to get 2 BA pastry stouts w/ higher FG, preferably with minimal coffee. Prairie Dawgs, Modem Tones variants, Cycle's Hazelnut, Angry Chair IGCCS, Aslin El Rio, Horus BA Double Drupe, all those are the kinds of things I've had and I'd be looking for similar.

    I can get 12 cans of Monkish to trade(assorted, basically a mix of whatever they drop next week)

    Any recommendations on 2 stouts you think would be fair to trade for 12 assorted Monkish cans? Or is this a stupid question without knowing specifically which cans Monkish is releasing?

    Appreciate the input and your time for reading this . Happy trading!

    Sorry, yes, Final Gravity. Should have just said a thicker stout, sorry about that. Thanks for clarifying MKE.

    Thanks for the clarification. I think the dawgz, cycle, some AC are no problem. Probably too close (geographically) for MT. El rio is imo the right set of eyes just because it is a bit old but probably some of the 5th anniversary bottles and others that were re-released.

    Of all these bottles those, I believe the Dawgz and AC to have the higher FG. Personally I would go for dawgz just because of the variety and likelihood of trade. Note that if you go this route, check untapped to ensure they aren't contaminated. Cheers and good luck.

    I haven't traded bourbon before so was wondering if the old squat bottles of ECBP from 2013-2016 have the same (or more) value as newer bottles (i.e. new designs designated with A, B, C, etc).

    As good as the beers are that you are offering, I don't think this will get it done. If you are asking if values match up, then perhaps you are just a bit short. However, BA fluffernutter as an anchor is probably not a big enough anchor. If you want to do a volume trade offer then maybe 1-2 more small bottles would get it done, otherwise a bigger anchor. PS: I would personally never trade Appervation for Assassin as I think Appervation is the superior beer.

    @Affinity

    Thanks for your response. Your assumption is correct. My question is more in terms of value to value. I do like how you use the word "anchor". Helps me understand what needs to happen.

    Appervation is really good! The member only bottles are very good too! Thats very interesting about Assassin. Did you write a review for both beers that you can point me to?

    No, I don't really have time to write reviews. I used to be on Untappd, but got off that. Now I just drink the beer. To me Appervation is more of a traditional BA stout with notes of chocolate, tobacco, and vanilla from the bourbon barrels. From texture, viscosity, and flavor Appervation is the kind of beer I prefer to drink. The Assassin that I have had have had have been more chocolate forward with a more slick mouthfeel compared to the sticky mouthfeel of Appervation. I have heard from some that they also get dark fruit notes from some of the Assassin vintages. I just think if Appervation was from Side Project or Toppling Goliath it would be worth 10x as much. Good luck in the search @jts211.

    Thanks for the input people,

    And thanks for the bday stout offer, I'll circle back on that in case folks shut me down for all my other ISOs!
