With all of their non-core offerings in cans right now, which have been the best? There's just too many options to buy or try them all:

Through the empty space is not on your list, but imo is the best thing they have right now.

Good to know, thanks. It's only listed on the home delivery page so they must have it. To make the list, I just copied and pasted their to go list and remove the three core and party wave.

The German Chocolate Cake anny variant is definitely far more dialed in than any of the festival versions they put on draft before. It's damn near a 5/5 wow!

Anyone try the latest Blue Hotel yet? It been one of Kane’s biggest hit/miss cans.

I would have your wife email. Worst they can do is say no.

Does Kane really not give refunds if you can't pickup your bottles? Seems pretty tacky to keep the money and then resell the product if they're not going to entertain changes to proxies.

That explains why they use Eventbrite. So they can classify it as a nonrefundable ticket sale. Just seems very unfriendly especially compared with the service from other breweries like Threes

I get the no refunds. People were buying multiple sets of harder to get releases and "returning" surplus they did not want. I know they have refunded people for reasons like getting in a car accident etc. But usually no refunds.

I get that they don't want people over ordering and then cancelling partial orders. Although even then it's not like all these special release beers don't sell out eventually anyways. But refusing to allow changes in the name the order is under or who picks it up is ridiculous. No other brewery cares who actually comes to get the order. I've never been asked for ID for curbside pickup at any brewery I've ever been to. And it's not right to keep the money if someone can't pick their order up just to turn around and resell the product.

My point overall is that if you don't want to allow changes in order name or if you want to make orders non refundable that's fine but to do both comes off like they're trying to gouge people. At $20 a pop these beers aren't cheap either.

So are you just out the $80 now? Or are they refunding you?

Thanks for the reply. With a bunch of good Galaxy hopped beers around lately I was hoping this would be a return to the original.

Any opinions on Blueberry Island, Donut Shack, or Dropping fruit? Sounds like Blue Hotel isn't great and I'm not a fan of Sabro hops.

Originally Blueberry Island was really good IMO, but I haven't this new batch. I have bought Donut Shack but didn't open one yet, can report back as I will likley open one tonight. The first dropping fruit was very good IMO, haven't gotten this new batch. YMMV depending on what you are looking for in that type of beer. Its isn't overly sweet fruit slushy like some breweries are pushing these days, its more of a fruited berliner beer versus a sour fruit slushy. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like since they did add lactose but it was much more a beer than other places take on the style that has gotten popular recently

I had placed my order before you posted since I didn't want to have the anniversary beers sell out, or hit the max amount sold for the day (if that's a thing). Went with Blueberry Island, which is fantastic, Hollow Sea, Wind Swell, and Carousel House. Split a Blueberry Island and a Wind Swell so far, both of which were fantastic and are a great showing of mosaic.

Glad to hear Dropping Fruit is more of a fruited Berliner, I've had some of the slushy style beers and that doesn't really appeal to me in the cooler weather. I'll look out for those in the future when I order again.

I have a question about yeast strains for Kane. It appears to me that Head High and SneakBox are using different yeast strains. Can anyone confirm this for sure ?
