I expect nothing less than a full accounting of all beer purchases made in addition to the MtL bottles.

Just the bottles actually. I tasted the stout. It’s very good. Big cherry notes up front, nice dry botanical finish.

Damn quarantine! Drove by Kittery yesterday and completely forgot to pick up my bottles! Anybody making the drive up today? Will make it worth your while!

Enjoyed Mott more having had a small pour again yesterday.

We also ate some Mott the lesser marinated steak tips from Carl’s as well. Good shit on the grill

Hey man - thanks for offering to help me out - was going to send you a PM but wanted to do it in the thread to show how cool the folks at Tributary are - I spoke with them today and they're going to hold the Mott's for me until I can get up there, which will hopefully be prior to next spring's release! Thanks either way!

How fwd & “cherry” is the cherry brandy barrel flavor?

Mostly on the nose. Big botanical finish.

Good news. I loathe cherry in beer save for kriek.

Respectfully disagreeing with @mrmattosgood, at least a little. The cherry character is integral - it isn't overbearing but it definitely can't be overlooked. It was the complementary aspects of the chocolate-covered cherry up front and the woodsy, tea-like quality at the finish that defined the flavor profile for me.

You are right to be careful with this Matt Osgood guy. He’s as explosive as an infected bottle of home brew.

well i got one on each side the fence. based on the cherry flare in their marketing and $32/750 i’m leaning towards skipping this season's honestly.
