I imagine the pandemic has a lot to do with not wanting to hold onto stock? How much on-site consumption have they been offering?

Equally excited about the Zenne as the Hommage in the OBD pack!

Relatively new to the 3F game but I had a question about their small stickers to the right of the beer identifier...

    So Bee = Honey

But I have bottles with the sunflower-like circle (Kriek and OG), bottles without it (A&G, Hommage). What does that mean if it has it or not?

And what does the sticker to the right of Robijn mean?

Are there other small stickers they use that I didn't mention?

The little flower-looking thing is actually a graphic based on the EU flag (a ring of yellow stars on blue background), for a program of — well, I’ll let them explain:

Recognition as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG) is available for foodstuffs and agricultural products without a link to specific geographical area. This recognition is based on the specificity of the product, i.e. the characteristics which clearly distinguish it from other products or foodstuffs from the same category. These characteristics may be related to the product’s intrinsic qualities such as physical or chemical properties or the production method. Therefore, they must be produced according to a specific recipe or production method, but this may take place anywhere, without geographical requirements.

    Examples: “Geuze,” “Faro,” “Kriek,” “Mozzarella”.

www.lambic.info has all you need to know, but bee = honey, yellow/blue circle = TSG as discussed above, and the last one is a barrel which indicates barrel maceration of the fruit as opposed to stainless.

For those of you who reside in Belgium, 3F's webshop has free shipping for the rest of the year.

Thanks for that tip @swid! I wouldn't have seen that and just decided, what the heck, let's do it. Done. (Well, due tomorrow.)

Has anyone here used their FedEx Economy shipping to the U.S.? I'm confused by all the BIAB & Etre references in this forum, then when I look at 3F's own shipping rates doc.

That's merchandise only, no beer shipping. Thus the use of Etre as proxy.

OK, I'm sure I missed something about that somewhere, so thanks for bearing with me.

The way that shipping doc is laid out is a little confusing, but it's there. The first few pages are for shipping beer & merch. But the end is merch only. You have to read the first line on each page to know which is which.
