Maybe this will help with the page count...why is Melon bad?

 

Sorry, was responding to @Tallerboy and the suggestion of other jazz albums. Though it would not surprise me to see OH come out with either All Mornin’ Long (4% Pilsner) and Soul Junction (grooving, funky DIPA).

The only thing I spend more on than beer is jazz albums. I’ve got the Music Matters pressing of Empyrean Isles and man that sounds so good. Not familiar with the new take though. Is it streaming somewhere?

 

I'm a music junkie but gave up on physical media a long time ago, try to buy albums for download from artists direct when possible. Family and friends have for years tried to convince me that streaming is the way to go but they ain't got shit to say when we're in a cell/wifi dead zone and I can keep the tunes rockin'.

I don't think melon is bad, just like alcohol and marijuana aren't bad- but too much melon, alcohol, marijuana, are objectively bad, according to the inviolable Law of Diminishing Returns.

Maybe I’m just a desperate suburbanite these days, but the OH beers I’ve been drinking seem pretty par for the course (for their 2020 output at least). Maybe it’s just the dregs that make their way to me that are sans le melon.

If you guys want to bolster the page count, without going back into the thread take a shot at how many times rozzom has mentioned that he has moved to the suburbs.

 

I mean, there are a few present DMV folks on the board, but we barely keep the regular DC thread on the top half of the first page. I doubt that OHDC would make a huge impact on this thread's page count.

Does the D in DMV stand for Delaware or DC? I’ve heard it as “Delmarva” so always wondered where DC is represented in that word.

 

I think a feedback loop is in effect here: talk of beer with melon notes and remasters of Cantaloupe Island on the same page. SMH.

 

The peninsula connecting DE, Maryland and Virginia is the Delmarva Peninsula, but the DC Metro area is DC + Maryland + Virginia = DMV.

 

It's actually become rather sad. At first, all I could feel was schadenfreude. Now I just pity the poor guy.
