I launder my beer so I can’t be traced when I sell it.

Welcome to the 21st century. If UBER knows who your are having a one night stand with and when,
Do you really think OZNR can’t figure out who is selling beer once one company controls the release data for a large data set of breweries?

But the only way that works is if they start assigning individual serial numbers to each bottle with is then tied to the QR code for that bottle that was purchased. In that case, someone then has to report it to the brewery that they bought “X” beer on a secondary market after they receive it from you. It sounds like someone’s tinfoil hat is cutting off a little circulation lol

Edit: I know breweries aren’t in favor of their limited release beers being sold secondary for up to 300% of retail but at the end of the day, you guessed it, it’s just beer man. That’s a lot of effort to try and shut down secondary bottle sales

I think you have a gross misunderstanding of the way modern technology and data science works.

I, too, would like to better understand their CIA tactics in identifying, locating, and curbing secondary sellers by identifying their ip address (and then having to coordinate that with apps/companies where neckbeards dwell that wouldn't just give them privy access to that information). Maybe they can send special force agents in to steal the servers?...And exactly why they would care to go to such lengths burning time and resources just to have to sell the same beer to the next guy.

Flipping is, and always has been, a blight on the craft beer community.

I drink all my merchandise. If I was in an 80's gang/cartel movie, I'd get whacked around the 45-minute mark.

An "app"? I do not have a mobile telephone. They are security and privacy calamaties. :zipper_mouth:
Adjective added above. XFinity | Comcast broke Net Neutrality. If you want a higher connection speed, you must pay extra for it. There's no way I will sign up for its "service". :rage:
What is especially pathetic is when a W-WW page decides I need to solve a reCaptcha and then declines to show me the reCaptcha for some furshlugginer reason. Which I suspect is due to my connection speed.
From 12 March to 9 June, the Chicago Public Library was closed due to COVID-19. That is ninety days without broadband internet access. My software and operating system patches are now from 19 November. If the public library closes again, I have to hope nothing comes along on the internet that I would have to download a multi-million byte update in order to fend off an intrusion.
Basically, ordering should be kept basic. Do we need this to propagate like Brown Paper Tickets, Eventbrite, Ticketleap, Ticketweb, Universe, Elevent - that you have to belong to all of these in order to obtain something? :frowning2:
