Overkill. Birthday and Anniversary are all over the place right now, but could probably land Aaron with just one of them, maybe a small plus on your end to close the deal. If Birthday/Anniversary settles like Reserve/Prop, then might need both, but right now it's close to 1:1.

How far off is AC igccs or JWB big poppa?

 

Not sure about big poppa but you would need at least 2 igcca to land a cocovibes but I’ve had both and cocovibes is a lot better IMO.

 

I’m very curious about the value of the Birthday and Anniversary myself. I’m thinking they’ll settle around about a bottle of Blantons or so? I think that’s 1VRU these days? I don’t know. I’d love to hear opinions though.

 

Also, random thought. Does anyone have the full lineup BCBS 2020 MSRP?

 

Just my opinion, it's Bourbon County (which I still enjoy), but I'd imagine Anniversary and Birthday settle around Prop/Reserve (maybe a little more?). I'd think you could get it for 40-50 from Goose Island/Binny's in the near future with a proxy. It's not like DB BCBS which was lottery only and honestly a top notch BA stout. I could be wrong, haven't had it yet, so if the reviews are amazing and its low bottle count, then could be the case.

Do you mean the OG definition of VRU of 200, which is where DBBCBS has settled, then I doubt it'll settle there. I think it'll settle a little over Prop/Reserve, which are great beers tbh. If you mean current Blanton's/VRU, which is like 1/2 to 3/4 of that, that's possible, but still optimistic.

From goose you could probably get it with proxy whenever they sell their bottles from there (I’m assuming they will) but binny’s was a no proxy lottery already done.

 

Being they are very specific barrels, I’d have to assume the bottle count is somewhat limited no?

 

Possibly, keep in mind that they started barrel aging this beer before COVID, so the current supply-demand curve is weird with burst releases by its distributors. As more gets out there and as the reviews come in, we'll know where this settles. I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if it settles around Reserve, which also used somewhat limited barrels, though maybe not as limited. Heck, Rare 2015 used rare limited barrels but still settles a little over 1/2 a VRU.

 

Well someone is looking for handjee for BCBS birthday and anniversary 2:1 on the Ft limited. Just for reference both bottles can be had sub $100 and handjee a lot more than that.
