Nah, you're probably fine. He never entered CC info. I think it was a case of everyone filling their carts and if someone didn't check out, he would've gotten a chance. Was planning to split the base and maple with him post COVID but what can you do? Hope you enjoy!

thanks. i know in the past i got a release at like 12:30 by just refreshing like a madman on my phone, so maybe tell him to keep trying. probably a fluke, but who knows.

 

Thanks yeah, I'm sure he probably is. Not too worried, expected a long shot with proxies OK'd. Have to break out the ANTEAD from the back of the fridge from a couple years back when I had dumb luck and no kid at home to worry about!

snagged a set, very excited. Contrary to most, I love Eventbrite. Never get shut out

 

I thought the sale was tomorrow at noon, got on right before on my phone and had it in my cart but then when I clicked purchase the screen went to the "your in line don't refresh". But the top of the page had large red line saying this version of safari is not supported. So I lost out. If anyone is looking to sell a set I can pay cost plus a bottle of Fundamental observation 2018+ I'm so so bummed.

 

Guess Ill have to drink my double barrel aged ANTEAD this weekend instead

 

Had a similar situation happen with me today too. As I thought I was about to advance to checkout, I got a message unavailable, LOL!

 

I grabbed the 3 bottle 750 set last year, so I wasn't really super interested in getting it this year, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I had the same issue as a few others, getting in line only to also get the "we're looking for your tickets don't refresh" message. I immediately interpreted that as "you're fucked, but sit here for a few minutes with that false glimmer of hope we give you as we "look"." Nevertheless, I splurged and went out and got 4 bottles of the BCBS(reg +3 variants).

 

I got a set. Like many, I got the “ wait in line” message or whatever it said. 30 seconds later it took me to the checkout page. It also asked if I wanted to designate a proxy which may have tripped up some people that were planning on sending one.

 

Evening Bell is up for sale on the store, so I think it's safe to assume that will be for stale starting tomorrow. Hopefully it lasts for a while since I live in Burlington County and Kane doesn't deliver here again till December 3rd.

I would not be shocked to see some variants pop up over the weekend...

I really hope people don't line up over the weekend and create a mess for Kane and the staff.

 

It sure would be sweet of those Morning Bell cans hit distributio like many other can releases.

 

If people are coming for ANTEAD now Kane will make a nice extra chunk of money.

And I'm guessing anyone who missed on ANTEAD but wanted it will gladly come by to get this as a very acceptable alternative. That's what I would do if I cared to drive up there. So I'm gonna say, they have a huge crowd on their hands.

 

Hopefully "huge crowd" means "consistent but light and well-managed flow of people" as opposed to masses congregating. I know, personally, I won't be there at open to not contribute to any potential crowds.

Fingers crossed that everyone else agrees that BAEB will stick around and can wait a few more hours for ANTEAD.

 

Same, I have friends doing an early reservation so we plan to have a beer enjoy the weather and watch the line...hopefully it isnt too crazy and we can grab some EB to go, especially being shut out of ANTEAD it will be a nice consolation prize

 

By having the ANTEAD pickup and the BA Morning Bell and Evening Bell releases at the same time, Kane is basically asking for big crowds and lines but obviously it’s their brewery and are entitled to make their own decisions. I went on Saturday or Sunday last year after Thanksgiving (I think) and got some bottles and I don’t remember it being super busy but I also don’t remember how much and what exactly dropped last year. Plus, there wasn’t the pandemic going on either. Like some of you said, hopefully people won’t feel the need to swarm at the same time.
