However Augie just posted they are releasing Epitome early (today!).

 

Does anyone know if epitome was distributed to Central New Jersey?

 

Picked some up at wegmans in ocean on Sunday.

 

I’ll probably be checking later today.

 

So it’s at Bridgewater Wegmans but the guy won’t release it until Black Friday. I tried to tell him Carton released it early this year but he wouldn’t budge.

Either they weren't informed or the guy is being a douche. I'm gonna stop by Woodbridge Wegmans tommorow to see if they have it.

 

It was kind of annoying yet funny at the same time. I could picture myself getting into some kind of Larry David Curb-type argument with the guy but I let it go.

 

I get why these guys are trying to be strict with the release. Frustrating, but understandable.

Woodbridge Wegmans didn't even order it (one of the guys said that Carton doesn't move too well from that store).

However, Jersey Fine Wines (aka one of the best craft beer stores in the whole area) is getting it later this week.

 

Carton BA guy messaged me they they’d tell the Wegmans guy to release it today. I had to go back to Wegmans for wine and a few groceries today (I offered obviously so I could see if they released it today) and there it was! Just drank one to start my Thanksgiving weekend. Love this beer!

 

This is quite the excellent costumer service from Carton actually and from Wegmans as well. I'm gonna assume that whoever is in charge of beer, didn't know that it was released early and just followed the protocol; so I can't blame the person. I'm kinda glad that Wegmans actually does listen to their local suppliers (Kane UPC issue from few weeks back that was fixed) and they aren't just being a typical corporate overlord.

 

This beer is amazing. So much dank and pine and perfect amount of roast to balance it all out. I hadn’t had this in a few years and it was every bit as awesome as I remembered. Well done @augiecarton

 

Did Pineapple Haze hit distro?

 

Pineapple did hit distro. Has anyone tried it and care to report back?

 

Now that I know I’ll look for it this afternoon and will definitely have one tonight and will report.

 

Roger Wilco pennsauken. It tastes like a blunt wrapped in a pineapple wrapper.

 

Damn I did get some and forgot to report back. Definitely evokes some weedage. Tasty beer for sure.

 

Quick q: does Carton have outdoor seating or is it only the indoor option at 25% capacity?
