I'd go with the Dupont. Personally, I think a saison is by far the best pairing for turkey and all the traditional thanksgiving sides.

I plan to do a fruited sour with Thanksgiving dinner, like Little Sal or maybe Saison Rose. The acidity cuts across the big, heavy food quite nicely. I don’t like cranberry sauce, so a tart or sour beer with fruit is an awesome accompaniment.

As for my Thanksgiving meal pairing I'm going with a 2 year old wyerbacher imperial pumpkin. Weird choice , I know, but it was oddly great food pairing beer that I stumbled onto some years ago. I buy the beer every year now for this purpose.

Then with pumpkin pie and cheesecake I'll likely pair some aged Founders Curmudgeons Better Half.

The cole slaw run is my favorite thanksgiving tradition. Followed by taking in a baseball game and the summer solstice.

Notch to start, probably Tenner then schwartzbier. A few IPAs from Adroit Theory to get me hungry, then red wine (big ole cab) with dinner.

2015 BCBS Barleywine with dessert, almost certainly sleep after. Friday shall be slow.

CBC Working Class Hero is my favorite T-day side dish. Can start early and still keep my wits for post-dinner games/arguing about games. (Via Zoom this year)

Funny you mention that beer. I haven’t had it in at least a few years and was thinking about it. Nothing else to add. Carry on.

Ive got some Celebration, a few dry hopped post shifts, Orono Tubular and will definitely have some red wine for dinner.

First year in a while i haven't had to drive 4 hours on Tday morning to the in-laws. I celebrated by cracking my first beer at 9am

Decided to go with a Boulevard Brandy Land for early in the day, save the Rye on Rye for the evening.

Well it's 2020, we screwed up the turkey and dinner will be a little late. So I'm calling an audible and breaking out the Trillium Turducken TIPA. This will last me to dinner, go big or go home. May get unreasonably loud watching the football game for which I have no rooting interest.

Pulled 3 bottles for my wife and I to split today: '16 Cantillon Kriek, CD30 & M&C 10. We recently sold our house and relocated and haven't had a proper celebration night yet. Been looking forward to a good reason to open my last MC10.

Sheesh. I might as well just pour my Little Sal and Saison Rose down the drain. That’s some line-up.

But anyway, enjoy! Congrats on the relocation.

The Art of Holding Space really stole the show today. Unreal complexity and character for a 3% beer.

Didn't drink much cuz I'm a lightweight figuratively and literally these days. Called an audible as I wasn't thrilled with the wine my mom had. Went with Fox Farm Penny (table beer).

It was good enough but probably my first "miss" from them. Was quite lemony. Less a table beer and more a summer shandy.

Having double burst from them now and that's good stuff.

    Classics for me today:
    SN Celebration
    Heady Topper
    Notch Altbier

Perfect balance of malt and hops to cut through a heavy meal.
