I'm really excited about RU-55. Has anyone heard any initial release dates on that yet?

I don't think so. I was at Central Market today. They said they were supposed to get it, but all they got was Witchmaker.

Still some Buddah on the shelf though.

    Yay! Less competition for bottles.

    WTF is wrong with RU-55?

Dunno, but all the other sours they have put out have that harsh chemical finish. It really disrupts the palate and is just not smooth. Almost like drain cleaner.

Maybe its me, but my girlfriend tastes it too. Every single sour so far. Put it next to a cascade, bruery, woods, or any other, and it has a harsh chemical taste. Reminds me if a sour homebrew competition I judged. All but one had that off chemical taste.

Any sour next to a Bruery sour is a winner.

That's your problem, don't drink it next to a Cascade sour. For that matter just stick to Cascade, can't go wrong. Seriously, the extra few dollars is worth it IMO. Not that I don't like most of JK's sours, I do and will continue to buy them but Cascade is hard to beat.

Operation 'Trick Girl Into Going to Stanley's Farmhouse for "Pizza"' complete. The pizza was absolutely fantastic as well (we couldn't get the out-of-towners to go any place that wasn't BBQ or Mexican last week when they first opened, ugh).
