Ok full disclosure because we’re getting to stolen valor territory now with some of these noble implications about my land management.

I live on two acres with about 100 trees. NFW am I handling that myself. I’m afraid to say it’s almost completely outsourced. I swing an axe sometimes or do some occasional pruning - but that’s mostly for show.

Drinking Choose One now. It's one of the better pastry stouts they've made. It's starts out heavy on the vanilla sweet but the bitterness/roastiness of the coffee is really pronounced in the middle with an interesting nutty finish. The body is sticky-thick and lingers.

That said, it's still a pastry stout, like a more complex Southern Tier Creme Brulee. What are the odds there'll be a Short, Dark and Wired miracle before Xmas? Or would 2020 just ruin that beer too? Maybe it's better we wait a little longer
