You forced me to learn something new: While anyone can see the event page, non-members cannot see the posts - and that is where Rev posted the limits and prices.
I commend you for not being on Facebook. I'm only there so the kids Grandma can see pictures of the family and get family updates.
(I may also be there for the Rev events and info :sunglasses:)

Prices as expected except Mineshaft, I think. Look upon my wallet, ye mighty, and despair.

Edit: guess it was $35 last time, so not that surprising. Still hurts though.

    5 RW + 3 MG + 2 DB = Tree-Fiddy for me... plus a crowler? I'm at four-hundo before tax.

"But honey, I only bought regular Bourbon County this year."
"And hey, I get $20 back in Rev Rewards for every $300 I spend."
"How much do I have in Rev Rewards saved up? Uh...only $80, I mean, only $40."

Had Reg Deth, and Reg SJ this weekend along with Maple Deth. Both Regular versions were absolutely fantastic! I wasnt overly wow'd with the Maple as it came off a bit too sweet for me. Kicking myself for not grabbing a Deth by Cherries as the reviews on here look to be great...have just been burned too many times with Cherry Stouts where the cherry comes off very tart and acidic.

You can still get Cherry out in the wild if you want it

Actually saw it at a local for $35/ pack. Like it, don't lobe it enough to buy more. Just crazy I can get cheaper than rev itself.

We used to see that with hops so they’d protect their retailers (Surly as one example I believe) but yeah it feels unusual for BA stouts these days

Emailing Rev would obviously be the way to go but I'm going to bug you peeps first....anyone have an idea on the maximum amount of time Rev wants curbside orders to be picked up after placing said order online?! i.e I'm coming in next weekend (hopefully) for RW/MG/DBVSOD pickup, how early could I make an order of Straight Jacket/maple syrups to also pickup?

They are super accomodating - and they want your business - and they've done up to 5 days without emailing them. If it will be more, I say you place the order first, then email them the details on the order and let them know the date you plan to get it.
Worst case scenario, they ask you to cancel the order, but I highly doubt they would do that.

I half wondered if this might be the case. Thanks for the input (I may until this weekend and do as you say)!

Per the email response I received when I let them know I wouldn't be able to pick up right away "We can hold orders for 10 days, so you're fine to pick it up at your earliest convenience before then."

Hmm was interested in Mineshaft but didn't expect it to be $40. Does anyone who had it previously remember if it was great of just good?

I like the Rev has raised the standard so much that the question is whether a deep woods beer will be great or merely just good...
I was a big fan of 2018 mineshaft gap personally. The cognac barrel was very smooth and it was both complex and easy to drink. I feel like it something similar to what vsor did to ryeway. Personally I'm not hesitating to drop $40 on a 4 pack., but I've also bought every Rev release this year...

Mineshaft Gap 4pks for $40 is tough - I might only get three 4pks now. (LOL!)
It was last released on 1/12/18 for $35/4pk, and I thought it was great then and 6 months ago, but I'm a huge barleywine fan. If my last can changes my mind this week, I'll report back.

Josh Noel's article from the Tribune back then:
    "Interesting. Very, very interesting.

Mineshaft Gap is the same base beer as Straight Jacket, but goes into wholly different barrels — cognac, as opposed to bourbon — and the result is a wholly different beer. It results in what will likely be the most polarizing entry in this year’s Deep Wood catalog.

Revolution brewer Marty Scott, who manages the barrel aging program, called Mineshaft Gap “the most grown-up” of the roster. It’s oaky, boozy and bitter with just enough dark fruitiness — and maybe a touch of cocoa — working against a lightly astringent finish. The base beer that’s amplified by bourbon barrels in Straight Jacket struggles somewhat to show itself against the cognac barrels.

It took a few sips to know how I felt about Mineshaft Gap, but I ultimately decided that I not only have no problem with it, I also applaud its inventive nature. It’s a clean, interesting and well-made. My suggestion: Build a fire, light a cigar (if that’s your thing) and sip this sipper."
