It wasn't really a December email, it was at the bottom of one of the Cybeer Monday emails, which makes total sense.

So I guess we’re not getting those insulated bags we were supposed to get?

En route! We'll have more details later this week but they should be here in December and they can DEFINITELY fit 6 bottles of BTGR in them. [IMG]

Let the Christmas Beer season begin!

I had a 10 Lords this evening (non-BA) and it was fantastic. So flavorful and yet so easy drinking.

I had the new Partridge and BA 12 Drummers already last month. Good stuff.

Others on the docket every few days this month:
    BA 5 Golden
    BA 8 Maids
    BA 10 Lords
    11 Pipers
    12 Drummers

I’m using both boxes (regular and BA) as an Advent Calendar. Started with Partridge tonight, BA Partridge tomorrow, 2 Turtle doves the next day, and so on...

Nice! I'm going to start working my way backwards through whatever BA and non-BA bottles I have left over from the Christmas series. There's a complete BA vertical set for consumption, but because 2020 is 2020 we're holding off until everyone can safely enjoy them together. The "leftovers" that are MINE ALL MINE include some fun ones, though. BA 2 TD and Trois Poules I'm looking forward to most...Gotta start moving those bottles from the cellar to the fridge.

I was thinking the same thing. Although I may open both the BA and Non-BA versions at the same time and stopper half of each for day two. I'm not worried about the BA on the second day. But I'm concerned the Non-BA won't hold up.

Anyone surprised the Q4 box is older beers? Some are a few favorites sure. But 3 would never want to revisit again, and snack time while excellent fresh - doesn't hold up perfectly after a few years..

If they had a bunch of extras of those beers, why not just sell it individually.

Or am I confused and these bottles are new batches of previously releases?

I would say I was pleasantly surprised. They do mostly seem to be ones that I tried and enjoyed or ones that I never got to try but would have liked to. Seems like they legitimately tried to include mostly favorites.

The biggest selling point for me is that they all appear to be Bruery (i.e. non-sours), which was always my biggest hang-up with the Hoarders boxes as a non-sour fan. I agree a couple might not have aged as gracefully, but we are talking about no more than 2+ years, so I am not too concerned there.

    Anyway, easy purchase for me!

Yup, pleasantly surprised too. I stopped buying them the last couple of years so there's a lot that are new to me, including Grain In Grain Out, which I hear is great. There's only one I know I won't like (Glühwein) so I'm happy to buy this set.
