Ya know you could go to france44 and they have available listed by state. Combined with seekabrew you could get some great stuff. Your paying for shipping anyway, they don't surcharge. I do this for may dad at fathers day and Xmas as well.

Don't forget Oxbow, Rising Tide, and Marshall Wharf. Maine has some heavy hitters that should not be overlooked. I'm assuming he probably gets Allagash, and you've already covered Baxter and Maine Beer Co. It's a bit of a hike up here, but well worth it.

Enlightenment Ales (new nanobrewer) is brewing some great stuff. Availability is limited to the Boston metro area, but I'm loving his latest release: Illumination, described as a Farmhouse IPA.

List of stores that carry it is here:

one of the east coasts premier go to breweries: Smuttynose. High Poiint would be nice. Weyerbacher would be neat. River Horse, Long Trail Triple Bag- Triple Bag would be a shoe-in.

i second Jack's Abby and Maine (though pricey). But seriously if he is an IPA and Stout fan, i'm not sure why you aren't just sending him Heady Topper and Kate the Great... duh! Both super accessible too, no matter where you are in NE... haha.
