To celebrate all my purchases today and warm up for their arrival later this week, I'm enjoying a Spicy Island. It really is a good beer. It's so weird, but it works. The spice is still very alive.

Hey guys, I was a Reserve Society member for the 1st few years they had it. It’s been a while and I’m going to try and trade for some of this years BT variants. Is there a place I can find what the different variants are and the can/bottle size they used for them?

Great question... no? I dunno... I guess maybe go to Untappd and sort by added date?

Off the top of my head, the only 16oz can was regular BT. Then they did a box set of 10oz cans (double barrel maple, double barrel vanilla, American Port)

The Hoarder Boxes would have had a few 375ml special releases, plus there was the Black Tuesday box with four 375ml variants, and the just-release Grand Reserve is 375ml.

Everything else was 750ml including but maybe not limited to:

    Chocolate Rain
    Chocolate Reign
    Gray Monday
    Grey Monday
    Aloha Friday
    Rum BT
    Maple BT
    PB&J Thursday
    Sunday Sundae
    Still Vindictive
    Peter Veeder
    2-Year Wine BT
    BT Reserve

Holy fuck, there was a lot of BT this year...

Shipping question: do cans usually ship in 12 can boxes?

Chocolate Rain was in a can in 2019. I swore that Grey Monday was too, but I couldn't find it in an email.

Our boxes got a bit delayed, but should be in house for shipping purposes in the next 7 days or so.

You could now have you own festival with all that beer. Also, how many donut beer ideas did you have for the bruery? Is the "donut box" all your recipes? Before the donut beers get released do you have the final say?

Wow, really liking that Maple BT from the virtual box. Particularly that it isn’t as sweet as the regular Maple BT. Not super boozy and drinkable af. Having had all three now, this is by far my favorite, with the Port Barrel coming in 10th, which is hard to do when you only have three beers to judge.

I’m just gonna say it, for all the hate churriosity is getting (and fully knowledge and it is nothing like the original), it’s really not that bad a pour. Enjoying it as a different beer.

Also, eagerly awaiting notes in birnesnap!
