    Nice score, is this set (Christmas / December & Barleywine / January)? Have plenty of Barleywines at home, but would need to pick up a few Christmas offerings soon.

    Yea, pretty much. I'm planning to host the Christmas one unless @Snowcrash000 or someone else wants to? If no one else wants to, Im happy to do it! And then I believe @SierraNevallagash is planning to host the barleywine tasting in January/February.

    I'd suggest the weekend before Christmas, Dec 18-20. Too much family stuff happening Christmas weekend itself.

    Well a Christmas beers thing would.be great for me. I have been doing a monthly subscription with my favorite local bottle shop ($100/month and he curates a box of goodies for me to pick up on the first Thursday, so far its been right around. $110 worth of sticker price beer) and the box I just picked up hand a handful of Belgian Christmas beers. That'll be a good excuse for me to crack some open.

    We aren't doing anything for Christmas this year, but I agree it might be easier for more folks to participate the weekend before.

    Can't say I recall drinking any Christmas beers before. This is the kind of style I appreciate these tastings for

    This is very true. Also I don't want to assume everyone here celebrates Christmas ...

    Christmas Day is a Friday, so that Sat/Sun could work, but I'm also fine doing it the weekend before.

    I haven't a single Christmas beer in the cellar, so I'd be useless for that one, but definitely count me in for organising barleywine!

    As for Christmas beers, what about doing the 25th-27th, that way people can imbibe the day of if they want to, but also still have the next two days, if Christmas proves too busy? As in having it on that Sat/Sun, but just starting it Fri? Seems like that would be the best happy medium, but personally, I'm fine either way.

    I think that is better idea than 25-27, I like the idea of a lead up to Christmas with a Holiday beer.

    "Christmas ales" is a pretty broad term, and arguably, not even a true "style", so I'd think anything loosely based off the general Christmas/holiday/winter theme should be counted. I mean...it's got a Yeti on it....

    What's more Christmas than a Yeti?
