Fat Heads (2020)

I’m drinking a Hoppy Halihaze now.


My main gripe with the release is that they don’t have a fu(king house lager year round in cans. Especially when Starlight was a GD gem of a Helles. I think if they 15 rack em for $15/17 bucks those guys would fly off the shelf. Maybe a rebrand if it since some people are weird about it. Enough about a Helles ;-)

Not having a stout or porter in the lineup isn’t a huge deal. With the exception of that they were pumping out a decant coffee stout for a few years and they only should be growing.

That said, they have been doing some special releases a lot more. So, ya never know what might pop up. Groovy wasn’t even on last year’s calendar... However it was basically year round by August. So,there’s that.


Funny, Hazy 8 was my favorite hazy canned by them. Not this batch, the first one (haven’t had this months batch)

Last thing (I’m buzzed) ‘Wet Hopped’ Trail head (yes, over same years stalker 16oz cans) was my fav hoppy beer ever canned by them. Could use some ‘Trailhead’ again too. Wonder if they will be doing a Metro-park beer this year. Pandemic put the kabosh on that. Anyone remember what that was supposed to be? I heard it was supposed to be a lager (which was exciting) but I can’t remember what it was supposed to be.

For fun, what would ya trade off that list and for what? I’m dropping G’Suffa for Starlight.
