Just received my first shipment from Badlands today and I am thoroughly impressed. They are a relatively new brewery out in the badlands of Caledon Hills. They are a small outfit and specialize in new era IPA's (hazy, neipa, juicy). Their line up is always rotating and they are always experimenting. I just cracked open my first beer from them, DORA #36 and I am impressed. Thought it would be all hype, but they are making some great hazy/neipa's. What's everyone's thoughts? I feel they can be a big name in the game if they expand and be more available (not the easiest to get beer from).
I’ve only had a few from them, but all were top notch. They are just so far away from anywhere I want or need to be that I haven’t bothered to make the trip out there. I’ll order soon, but my backlog of beer is putting a strain on my marriage!! Arguably the best hazy IPA maker in the province, if not the country. Certainly in the same company with Bas Canada, Wood Brothers, Messorem, Barncat, Third Moon, Superflux and Boombox among others.
Haven't had any offering. Defiantly have tried to set up trades and or someone picking up for me but hasn't worked out. We'll see what the new year brings. I have heard gteat things more or less echoing what you said. What else to you order? @Long813
November dipa is delicious. I'm very impressed by their experimentation being on the nose. May have to compare all three in one night though bc I find hazy IPAs are so fruit forward it's hard to differentiate.
