BA Snowbirds 4 Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Almond Joy Topped Molasses Maple Banana Ice Cream Imperial Stout (15%) with Marcona Almonds, Coconut, Toasted Coconut, Cacao Nibs, Wild Thai Banana, Cinnamon, Molasses, Maple and Milk Sugar with @jwakfieldbrewing Whew!!! The flavors will linger way longer than that though. This beer was aged in bourbon barrels that were emptied and filled with maple syrup. Bourbon-y maple goodness. $24 per bottle. Limit 2pp. ⠀

BA Snowbirds 4 Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (15%) - Straight from the barrel. Not much more to say. We just loved the barrel character of this barrel and wanted to let it shine without adjuncts. $26 per bottle. Limit 1pp. ⠀

BA Snowbirds 3 Imperial Stout (16.0%) Aged 2 Years in Heaven Hill Rye Barrels with Marcona Almonds, Coconut, Toasted Coconut, Cinnamon and Wild Thai Banana with Dade denizens @jwakefieldbrewing Stashed away for 2 years in rye barrels and are almost the last of our Snowbirds 3 barrels. $30 per bottle. Lolol I don't know why but legit laughing out loud at this - multiple times.

 

It'll take a few minutes I think..but maybe I'm being Naive. Just thinking of the number of BA Bananaversary they had this year I think it was like 500+ bottles. Plus, unlike the EQ release yesterday, this is pick up in person only and only tomorrow.

 

How many covid lbs have you put on?

 

I'm just curious if I'm unlucky tomorrow. What's the secondary market for snowbirds like? Do the prices inflate for BA versions? I'm pretty new to the scene

I'm torn on the barrel only. I Like the idea, but, not a lot of details. And $26 just because they like a certain barrel?

 

In for 1 of each bottle. My checkout time was "9:00am" -- out in under 1 minute. I'm impressed.

 

I went for the barrel only...I'm a sucker for the dream that OH's straight up stouts will rise to the level of their straight up IPA's (the lactose-free single/dual hop series).

 

And Straight from the Barrel and Snowbirds 3 are gone...
