Have a good Friday. Slept about 12 hours, which was nice. Got another 3rd shift tonight, then all weekend. Got Mon/Tues off next. I took a video of my cat scaling the cat tree yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comme.../?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

12/18/2018 can. "We need a can saying" on the bottom. Tasting amazing. Definitely a lot more molasses now after the 2 years. The head retention was spectacular.

New Cult of Luna and it's amazing. EP out Feb 5, 2021.

Thanks @superspak for kicking things off this morning and for posting your cat video, Chuck is a cool dude for certain.

Assuming it's not raining too bad, I'll head out to Revolution to pick up a few four packs from their latest Deep Woods release. I grabbed a Revolution BA Straight Jacket, their annual Barleywine release canned January 4, 2019 for the morning pour. Really nice easy and mellow, about as smooth as 13.1% is going to be this early in the morning.

Pairs well with a nice pastry from the local coffee shop.

Have yourself a great beer Friday!

Great tune. And lunch. I am seriously considering becoming young again. Maybe after the holidays. Meanwhile, I will anticipate an appearance of the elusive Veronica.

Shanex, you do post great tunes, well when you are not posting Aerosmith, but I think we would all love it if you would occasionally post a French song or two like you did a few weeks ago.

    Vive La France!!!

Good day BAs! Thanks, @superspak, for starting today's thread, and @Shanex for your input - we need more non-Muricans to contribute your perspectives and beer (and music), particularly now that international travel is restricted. I miss the ability to travel (mostly) freely, and am trip-planning for when Trump's massive fuck-up finally ends. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Another disappointment from Jack's Abby - I had the base beer (Framinghammer) previously and bought these variants on the strength of that excellent brew. Unfortunately, so far they've fallen VERY short. Whether that's because of the brewer or the distributor/seller, who knows - I've still got a couple more varieties to try.

Good morning folks. Up since 5. Can’t really ever seem to sleep any more than 4-5 hours a night once I quit smoking. Oh well. Lots to do today anyways. Going to clean the depressing mess out of my truck. Weeks work of McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts trash unfortunately. Need to see if I can get a new smaller heater as well. The current one in basement keeps blowing the surge box. Any who

    Dragon Stout. 7.5% ABV

revisiting this beer from the folks who also brew Red Stripe and I’m gonna be real now after having this several times in many different ways.

It’s on the sweet side. I detect DMS just like the last time I had this years ago. This has a BB date of 2022 so I figured it’d be better but only slightly.

those interested it’s worth a shot at the price per ABV but this may as well be an imperial milk stout with off flavors and I’ll just honestly go with Guinness Extra next time. I have a Guinness foreign extra to compare notes with this later.

    cheers.

    Good morning BA
These nightshifts are wearing me down...
Falls City Couch Coach with a side of Old Tub. The beer is a good 5.5% IPL to my tastes. The bourbon is unfiltered, 4 year old, 100 proof Jim Beam. It's alright, but Jim and I got into a little trouble when I was 18 and I still haven't gotten over it:sunglasses:.

65 hours in 5 nights with one more to go. I need to grab a nap directly. Cheers all and have a marvelous Friday!:beers:

For comparison, I went to Boulder a few years ago and tried some gummies. 2 really made me happy and loopy once they hit. That was 20mg...

It was a fuckup. Likely going to be in bed for 12 hours only getting up for more food and to go the bathroom. Thank god the plans I had today weren't super serious so cancelling them isn't a big deal but I think I am going to be higher than I have ever been before. If I get anxiety or something I think I have a Xanax lying around so that's nice at least.

I have no idea how this happened. I don't generally leave edibles lying around especially on my nightstand when I sometimes snack at night
