I find it amusing that people rag on how far Huntley is. Sure, it’s far, but for some of us city folk, it barely takes any more time to get to than Villa Park.

But really, it’s damn far away. Just a much easier drive than Villa Park, especially when there’s a decent amount of traffic.

 

Well, really it's $55 with the delivery fee, unless you are going to order a bunch more beer along with it. Still well below secondary value though.

 

It's nice because its right off the highway. I just made a trip out to Riverlands, now that felt FAR...

 

Yeah my sister moved St. Charles about a year ago, and I still haven’t gone out there. She asks me why we don’t go, and I respond with “because North Ave is only way to get there, and I don’t feel like missing every stop light for 20 miles!”

 

Lol, agree Huntley shouldn’t be near as bad as it’s right down I-90... as long as you aren’t trying to skip the expressway it shouldn’t be terrible coming from the city (especially assuming non rush hours). I live right next to Villa Park in Lombard, but am really lucky because it’s probably the most central part of Chicagoland you can get.

 

I think a lot of the people ragging on it aren't in the city and since MoRE started in Villa Park, a good portion of their fan base is just from the Western-ish suburbs.

For me I can walk to VP! I guess I could walk to Huntley as well, but the round trip would be a full 24 hours!

This is a good point That's how I feel about the trip to phase 3. It's the time off the highway that makes it seem further than it probably actually is.

 

I once drove across the country because I was bored. Now leaving for the daunting trek to Huntley . If anyone has some Saison Bernice and wants to trade me in the parking lot I'll be there in an hour. DM me.

 

I don’t think this is true. Plenty of people from all over were brought to More via the Shaun Hype Express train. Now, maybe the rest of us don’t frequent VP like those of you that are close, but when you go to the special releases for More, it’s the same ragged bunch we see at all the big releases throughout the area.

 

I think there's a good number of people who frequent those kind of releases where the distance difference between Huntley and VP is significant.

 

I do appreciate the recent Chicago distro. Really enjoying Main Course!
