Bruery RS/HS Allocations (2020)

If only someone had brought this up before...

 

I tried to email yesterday afternoon as I wasn't getting a chat response. Ended up losing the crowlers I had in the cart as well.

 

I've made it through Xmas 12, 11, and 10 from both boxes before I needed a brake. I fully expected to like the BA versions more. But, I found the base 11 and 10 to be more flavorful and complex. I think I like the BA 12 more because it tempered the big tobacco finish I got with the base. But, that was about it.

 

No response here either, been over 48 hours.

 

Quick question...does anyone know how many days in advance you need to put in your order for Cellar pick-up for the DC location? Thanks!

 

As far as I know 24hrs, that’s all we’ve done for are pickup

 

Thanks! Good to know. I am looking to do a pick-up next week, but need to manage it with the incoming storm.

 

Remember they’re only open Thursday thru Saturday

 

They've actually changed to Thursday thru Sunday for a little while now!

I was keeping my eye on "On Tuesdays We Brunch"... finally decided to pull the trigger today and it was sold out!

 

It doesn't appear you're anywhere near Terreux but they have it listed on their menu if you are nearby might want to try there.

 

Yeah probably won't work out anytime soon haha, I frequent the DC establishment!

 

I didn't see any listed for DC. Did see 2016 Rueuze though. Yummm. Hoping to see Rueuze Reserve show up for the 12 days. That's something I didn't buy enough of.

 

Being about 100 miles away from my personal cellar on my birthday was a bummer. Ive just been ripppppin some Unwind! Any big bottles coming up in the queue for anyone this weekend?

 

I thought I was going to be dipping into the new Hoarder box this weekend... GSO was scheduled to deliver Wednesday... but every day they push the expected delivery out another day. Super weird. Now expected “Monday”. I’m most excited to try Grain In and Xmas Ani.

Instead tonight, sigh, I’m slumming it with the new BT Grand Reserve.

 

Look on the bright side - better than if they actually did deliver your box to the wrong address!

(I guess due to COVID, GSO now just leaves the boxes rather than asking me to sign more often than not)

 

yeah, they usually just leave for me too these days, though I assume because it’s usually the same delivery dude and he recognizes I’m legit and not a sneaky teen.
