Going to do the responsible thing and sit this one out after Tuesday's Revolution spending spree. That said, if I were to enter and lose I'd only have to remind myself of last year to immediately get over it. Made the journey from the suburbs to the brewery, got in the line that had already formed outside, waited in that line for about 45 minutes, then got told they ran out and walked away empty handed. I'd take losing a lottery over doing that shit again.

 

3 days to enter is insane. If you really want a beer that you know has been coming for a month you can be ready to enter a lottery during a few hour period of time. Even if you’re working you could enter while taking a piss. Give at least some advantage to the people that pay attention and follow this stuff.

 

If/when lotteries through OZNR become more commonplace and breweries have taken a few swings at it, I'll bet there will be some refinement to the windows. For the consumer, it's really easy to pull up the app and enter + it'd be a nice way for a brewery to service their loyal fans by saying, "You have 4 hours to enter the lottery."

 

That would be nice. I’m pretty sure 3 sons is already doing 1 hour lottery entry windows. Then you find out that day. Much better than dragging it out for 3 days plus waiting on the 4th day for that email. It’s beer (that I want).

 

I, too, will be putting peanut butter in my DBVSOD after REV has taken all of my money this year.
