Finally learned how to use my iPhone camera properly after almost a year.

    allagash Night Sky. 7.5%.

I’ve been seeing a lot of dislikes for this one here and personally I like this. It says Belgian inspired but that’s subtle and allagash black is a different monster than this. This sweet, molasses, toasty chocolate. I should let it warm but I’m half done already. Prickly carb. I’d say stout fans pick this up. Allagash house yeast prevalent in this. Minimal tobacco which I don’t like in dark “Belgian” inspired stuff so this is more like an English style with a Belgian yeast. I like it. No complaints.

any fans of the evil dead and such check out this movie The Alchemist Cookbook. It’s one of those pay strong attention or you won’t get it but such a good movie I watched it twice yesterday.

without spoilers the kid bargains with a demon to use chemistry to turn shit into gold and evil dead type vibes ensue. It’s awesome.

Prepping the rice now. Will let sit out until around 430. I’ll use minced ham instead of ground beef and mix the rice, ham, a spice called vegeta, and stuff it into the cabbage leaves. I’m going to also make a tomato sauce with sauerkraut and bacon. But you must thin out sour cream and drizzle on top with paprika of course. I use smoked paprika

my s/o father is Cuban and wants to try every hungarian dish I can think of and this is how we do it. Cheers.

And now for the something old...Bigfoot (2013):

I bought this bottle on 1/19/13. Poured at 60 degrees. No oxidation. Burnt molasses, brown sugar, caramel sweetness, yet bitter oaky notes are along for the ride. Excellent!
