Picked up DC brewed hop showers at the navy yard wegmans and it was better than any of the beers from my recent treehouse haul (king jjjjj, v. Green, v. Hazy, doubleganger, perfect storm, cachet, bbbbbrigght)

The last 2 times I told myself that driving 4 hours round trip to buy beer was an okay thing to do I've been to Fox Farm. The first time I did it I couldn't believe I was going there instead of TH. The second time was a no brainer.

How are you feeling about these Citra + Strata beers released out of DC?

I think he means Brooklyn Navy Yard Wegmans though I'm surprised they got a DC can.

Ha, nothing has been the lupulin revelation that Citra + Strata was back in March! I am excited to try Double Cut Gems and Forever Strata whenever they hit Domino Park.

The DC cans continue to be a nice change of pace. The fluffier body is fun and I'm really enjoying the Galaxy in this Double Space Cut. Even Forever Citra grew on me with a few days on it. I might have to rethink sub 8% offerings.

+1 on the DC cans, have been working on a 4pk of Dalecarlia Super Speedway (whatever the hell that means...damn DMV references) and each can seems to taste a little better than the last.

Triple Forever Riwaka is awesome. I don't believe anyone has posted about it here yet. Tastes like a blend of Nelson and Strata hops, super complex.

For what little a peasant's opinion from NJ can provide, having had the mylar and ACE, they've both been pretty great in my opinion. No melon. The ACE in the last week went from green to balanced, and the Mylar has the old school vibe of rind and bitterness I'm looking for. I don't know anymore what I expect with any NEIPA, insofar as there are so many out there and my palate is probably past the point of being impressed, but I'll say, OH, more of this moving forward wouldn't be unappreciated by me anyway.

100% agree. Not boozy at all and the hops are bangin. Best DC beer so far that I've had. I am team Nelson, and this is NZ all the way.

Finally got around to trying FLX cananDankua. It’s a nice change of pace as it steers towards west coast IPA territory yet its as smooth and balanced as anything I’ve had in a while.

DDH All Galaxy was alright. I found it more drinkable than some recent Space Diamonds, but nothing special. Didn't get a chance to try All Green and it looks like it may have sold out now but its usually a solid buy at 10+%.
