So anyone know about sinful sap? Is it close to white oak?

I'd like The Bruery to partner with Trader Joe's and make a stout based on their English Toffee with Nuts.

    Deez Nutz?

Seriously though, TJ's has used Unibroue (SP?) to make a few super good house branded Belgian ales that are a steal at ~$6. I feel like your idea is not out of the question as a win-win for two great brands.

Expectations were very high, but Grain In Grain Out did not knock my socks off (though it was an enjoyable slow burn). In some ways it's a victim of its own refined subtlety because I'm so conditioned to big beers hitting me over the head. I actually see a lot of parallels to For A Spell in terms of being inconspicuous. Perhaps like jazz, it's all about the notes you don't play?

I’ll tell ya, I’d think they partnered with Trader Joe’s for their 2020 holiday ale if I didn’t know it was Unibroue. It tastes very much to me like a poor mans Autumn Maple, and in lieu of Autumn Maple not being available any more, I went back and bought six more after I tried the one. $5.99 for the win!

Did anybody/everybody get their insulated cooler bags yet? My wife picked it up yesterday and it’s pretty darn nice. Heavy duty and strong. Also, when there’s nothing in it, it lies flat which is good for storing.

Was really excited to see Black Tuesday Islay up in the 12 Days sale, until the price - $27 for a half-size bottle? Oof.

For real, that's pretty steep. I get that's it's a specialty cask but it's also been well used at that point.

I actually drank a GI "Islay" 2017 (the only year they made it?) the other night

and It was holding up brilliantly. As much as I love peated whisky, it seems like the overlap is not enough for peated barrel beers to be commercially useful. I definitely like them though.

Reserve and Hoarders pages were updated with a few new beer labels and descriptions including “I’m So Happy It’s Thursday”!

Chew On This is excellent! I had not tried it originally, but now I'm super happy they are rereleasing next year. It's what I always wanted Atta Boysenberry to be (don't get me wrong, I enjoy Atta, this is just both more balanced and more flavorful).

I was excited for the Thursday knowing it was double barrel, but scotch barrels? Not so sure now

On the membership page on their website it lists next year's included beers. Many of them have placeholder info for name and label, but they've started filling in those details.

Ahhh thanks! now I see the above mentioned Thursday. I was looking at only the hoarders page and it wasn’t listed there
