Looking for 40s in NH or VT (half joke)

    Hi,

    I'm new here. I live in NH.
    So me and my brother have this joke about 40s because there was a video game he was addicted to where he would make a bunker and stock it to the ceiling with 40s and then drink them all at once. We do a joke christmas gift each year and I want to give him a 40 (maybe a few different kinds) for the joke gift.

    In NH it looks like you can't buy 40s anywhere, but I'm right near VT. Does anyone know if/where I could buy a 40 oz malt liquor in VT?
    I'm very determined cause I'm really curious what they are like. I never had one.

    (Tried online and they wouldn't ship it.)

    Not sure where you are in NH, but Cole's in St J probably has what you're looking for.

    I didn't think 40's were legal in VT.

    I definitely used to buy 40oz beers at Winooski Bev for "Malt Liquor Mondays", but in all honesty it has been a few years since I've checked. I'll snap a photo next time I'm down there.

    I was under the impression that the maximum volume was set at 1qt/L when the ABV limit was raised in 2008. May have misread or forgotten something. Would make no sense, given that you can buy 64oz growlers.

    For some reason I couldn't stop thinking about this one. See Baker Distributing's Beer List below. Malt starts on page 49 and you can see that Colt45 comes in a 40oz bottle. Interestingly Olde English comes in a 42oz plastic container (PET)
