    Have a good hump day. My weekend ended today, going in at 11PM. I woke up at around 230AM after sleeping all day after my GF left at 1PM. She had to go to work. I went in to work to get some drinks and was supposed to give my buddy $50 for a q. He didn't get a call back, but he will let me know. So I still have to cash. I got paid today, minimum wage sure sucks, but its better than nothing. Still waiting on the world to get back to sanity and I can be an engineer again. I got a Coca Cola froster for $1.19. First time I've seen all 4 flavors actually working. I generally prefer sugar free beverages except for beer, but this was an exception.

    Awesome Tripel. I need to buy more Belgian styles for the holiday. I usually get Corsendonk xmas ale every year. Will go to Minute Mart near my dad's house to get that done.

    Starting the day with a Coffee Eugene, 22 days fresh. They used three local coffee shop beans for this release, the Sip of Hope is the one on my can and in my cup. The coffee is most excellent, I'd bump up my original rating .4-.5 with this version.

    Foederbier/ Helles 5% ABV
    Oaklyn, New Jersey

    this is what feels like a Helles on wood. A foederbier. You can taste subtleties of vanilla and wood. I want to say fresh oak. Full bodied, tangy noble hops and rich. This is wonderful and it’s actually quite unbelievable that I can get this in the neighboring town next to my job. It’s pretty wild. Obviously if you love or even just kind of like lager, this is a great option you never really see. Can date is from November. It is no issue at all. We picked up a bunch of new IPAs from them at work (DDH Fuego and Powder Daze) but I like sticking to these “obscure” lower alcohol styles.

    the only thing I have to say about this, is that is this more and less Coors Banquet with a more interesting strain of yeast. No complaints. Slugged it while supporting a skatepark they are making this beer for. Cheers to that. Skating keeps people out of trouble. It has for me when I was a teenager. Kind of.

    This years dual drop of Espresso and Fudge combined with original KBS has made me not even consider grabbing a CBS. That may change thought once all the fudge has disappeared. Founders killed it this year

    The second computer chair has been claimed. I had to put together my 2019 Serta chair from my birthday last year after the move. I will be waiting for Cyberpunk to do it too, I need a Radeon 6 series card first. I am ready to jump ship from NVIDIA after all those years.

    I actually picked up quite a bit of CBS, and keep going back for more - not because it's necessarily better, but because it fills a sweet tooth niche that even Mackinac doesn't. If I'm in the mood for something a little more dessert-like, it's astounding to have CBS to go to - considering the fever it caused in the community when it was suddenly re-released without announcement! :grinning:

    But yeah, all of these are great, and CBS might rank only above base KBS for me at this time, with Espresso and Mackinac being so damn good.

    It is truck day for the craft distributors in my area but I am trying to avoid going out.

    @Roguer If I wanted to gift someone a quality bottle of a GA saison ideally or even a regional saison? I haven't found many at all, only a closest thing was some Monday Night Farmhouses with very mediocre ratings

    I've got nothing for GA saisons. Some wild ales and sours from Creature Comforts and 3 Taverns, but no saisons that come to mind.
