Do you suppose that they're all 'believers' that the pub will permanently close, so they show up to sit in their cars to wait for the heavy equipment to arrive and then watch the place getting torn down and the lot cleared? Fun times!

 

ZD is now rotting on the shelf from August at my closest WI store that I hit. That along with Barbarian haze, Alpha, Gumball, and so on.

ZD is a shell of its former self, last six pack I bought was a drain pour...

 

I’ll agree it isn’t as good as it once was, but a drain pour is quite a bit of an exaggeration

 

It was so old, your great grandfather knew it before it turned to dust.

 

Just spotted a case of Gumballhead at a Costco. Forgot to check the price, but that was a first for me.

 

I finally got to try ZD in 12 Oz cans over the holiday. I will preface by saying I’ve probably drank a couple hundred bottles of ZD in the past. The can I had was almost 3w old and it was still very good. I will be seeking out fresh ZD going forward.

 

The bummer is that we may be lucky to ever try it again within 24 hours of bottling. I miss that experience for sure.

 

There are two breweries now - one brews and is distributed in bottles, the other brews and is distributed in cans. Most of the canned product, as in Arctic Panzer Wolf, is getting shipped to the east coast. The bottles are for local distro.

I don't know what prompted @YoungLad to make that post but this is old news. Three Floyds secretly built a second brewery in an old Whole Foods distro warehouse and outfitted it with a canning line. So if you buy a can of Three Floyds it comes from this newer brewery. Bottles are from the old brewery.
