    I'll probably grab some Bodhi in Mansfield to take home with me (it's in Krogers!) before I leave on Thursday...also may grab some Millersburg beer and Phoenix Brewing crowlers (they're in Mansfield)...can't go to Wooly Pig Farm Brewery as they're only open on Saturdays for the time being...

    ...since I can't go to Wooly Pig Farm Brewery since they're only open on Saturdays now, I settled for Malabar Farm near Mansfield...always a great place to hike and visit...several scenes from Shawshank Redemption' were filmed there (e.g., the opening cabin scene - Pugh Cabin)...

    Drat. Last week I was looking to see the hours as you were coming in. Unfortunately Covid got my friend and that unexpected event has thrown my schedule into doubt. Helping with the chaos from his passing. Someday. Peace to you and the fam.

    Sorry about your friend.

    My mom caught COVID and pneumonia before Thanksgiving. Neither is what killed her. She was released from the hospital after only a weekend stay, but she decided (at age 91) to no longer go on living, so she stopped regular eating, drinking, and maintenance medications and went into a hospice situation. She died Xmas Eve...

    There have been several Ohio BAs who I intend(ed) to hookup with, but between the current COVID crap and my tight schedule, it looks like I'll have to defer until better times...at least the beer still flows...

    One of the great movie lines...the majority of the movie was filmed at the old Ohio Reformatory, also in Mansfield, Ohio...a newer, more modern detention facility is at the same location, but the old reformatory (what's left of it) is a tourist attraction and periodic film setting (I believe some Air Force One scenes were filmed there - the prison scenes with General Ivan Radek, I believe)...

    More Malabar Farm trivia - it is where Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall got married...Louis Bromfield, before turning his energies into sustainable farming, was a fairly big Hollywood screenwriter back in the day...

    A great movie from a decade, the 90s which produced many great ones.

    I’m always happy to discuss movies and cinema though by no mean I consider myself an expert. I was talking in private to a different BA who should remain unnamed who had yet to see Predator, Twelve Monkeys, Reservoir Dogs and many other considered classics nowadays.

    Nothing wrong about it and a young man still have plenty of time to watch them.

    I just watched Silver with the missus. A flick taking place in a uptown building in NY starring Sharon Stone and the highlight of the movie was to see Sharon titties a bit.

    So, it’s Canada vs. The U.S. for World Junior hockey gold tonight. Generally, we look quite favourably on our more boisterous cousins to the south. However, that all changes for about three hours when we’re on the ice together. These are the two best teams at the tournament. Should be a good game.

    Drinking a very good NEIPA from Great Lakes in my 99 cent thrift store Sierra Nevada glass that I haven’t used in a while.

    Let me offer my condolescences to both of you. I have been watching this pandemic evolve too close, and recently very personally, at my hospital now since March. Too many good people lost. Sorry to hear.
