After 2 Bigfoots (Bigfeet?), I decided to have a Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot to compare. The color is similar, but the BI is boozier and sweet with a lot less hops (its also a few months older than the SNBF). Probably closer to the style than SN Bigfoot. I like them both, but they are quite different. With all this high octane beer, I might have to switch to water......Not, I have a 6 pack of SNPA ready to go in the fridge!

 

First beer from Schillings side project Resilience. And you know what, it did not disappoint!

 

Happy to find Jai Alai yesterday. Dated 12/10/20 A 12 pack no less.

None. Arm is only sore when I touch it or sleep on my left shoulder. Wife same. Couldn't even see the the mark left from the needle. It's all good so far.

 

That's a good follow-up to Heady Topper. The malt is extra nice which I like about some IPAs but this one especially.

That's great to hear!! I've heard it was similar to the Shingles shot which I've had - that one hurt the next day. I'll be in line to get it as soon as I can. Honestly, I'm a little annoyed that the opportunity has not presented itself yet. The med school has a town hall next Tuesday so I'll learn more then. Cheers and thanks for doing the unselfish right thing!

 

Just completed my 45th hour of work for the week (was in overtime at 10 this morning) and volunteered for a shift tomorrow that they only needed a few people for. Starts at 8 and no idea when it'll end (they carved out a twelve hour block for the database shift that's happening in my facility, but we're all hoping it won't be that long), but that equals insane money for me. Felt like I could splurge a bit on new beer for that reason...

Thanks to @SawDog505 for mentioning that these guys' IPAs are top-notch... I took your advice and picked up this and the other available NEIPA (the Mosaic/Galaxy one) they have out and... yup, this is superb.



Citra/Vic Secret, 7%, canned three weeks ago. Freaking delicious. Absolutely nails everything good about these two all-star hops in a tight, concise, flavorful package.
