I floated around to alot of tables, but thanks to everyone. I tried an insane amount crazy world class beers that actually made me leave a draft ORF sitting on the table. Truly an incredible event.

    Thanks everyone!

Oh well, was hoping it might survive into the afternoon like last year. Anyone have a bottle count for 2012?

Did you leave it on our table? Had a full one on our able and we had no clue whos it was!

Thanks to carolinakevin, ncbeerfan, beerness, ewright, curtismcarthur, beerverage, advent, scifan and many others for sharing some great beers!

My kind of release! Didn't have to get up cazy early to ensure bottles and was one of the best bottles shares I have attended at a release!

Does 333 seem like a reasonable #? I ended up not being able to make the trip and a good friend in Winston went for me around 11. She told me they had sold around 307 of 333 when she called. She walked in the door as they were stopping to do a count and was able to get me three.

If Event Horizon is any indication of the awesomeness of Olde Rabbit's Foot then I am in for a treat. I am very excited to finally get to try this one. Next year I want to actually make it there so I can meet some of you guys! Sounded like a good/relaxed time!

Also, thank you to benjaminahudson who, by chance, I ended up sharing a table with. You were more than generous and I had a great time meeting you.

I am mad at all of you............for giving me delicious sours, which I am now craving, which are going to destroy my wallet.

Thanks to Foothills, Duck Rabbit, and Olde Hickory for a great beer and an extremely well-run event. Thanks to everyone who talked to me, shared with me, traded with me, and drank with me. You all are awesome.

Especially great was one BA who gifted a $20 ORF bottle to another currently-down-on-his-luck BA (who wasn't at the release). I think they prefer anonymity, but what a fantastic gesture. Cheers to the whole community!

This could have been my favorite of the recent foothills releases, even though I rolled solo so literally only tasted beers this morning. It was just very chill and friendly today. ORF is lights out this year. Good seeing the Election Night Tasting Party guys, assorted Raleigh folks, Badass Tim From Virginia (as I've dubbed him for opening Fou Foune), JP, Pike, et al. You guys are all good shits. Thanks foothills staff and especially Steven, Jaime, and Paul for blending up the magic.
