Troegs Nugget Nectar. A friend of mine lent me the Yes-Live at Montreux DVD and I was blown away at the performance. One of the best for Yes and one of the best I've ever seen, period. Cheers!

 

Praire Bomb is amazing as always.

 

The Holy Shirt dipa, this is a colab between Dssolvr (NC) and Calusa (FL). It's not listed on BA as far as I can tell, no search results. I'm not going there, sure I'll f' it up somehow. It is a triple dry hopped DIPA 8.2% and really tasty.

That is a nice place, but it is about 6 miles south of where I was, which in that area means there are about 200 bars/taprooms in-between. I will visit there sometime soon, I am sure!

At one of the places I worked in the mid 80's, there was a girl who worked there with wild looking hair. Me and another tech walked out of our office and looked up the hallway, and backlit by the sun, there she stood silhouetted against the bright background. My buddy commented that she looked like a Sasquatch and forever after her nickname was "Sas". True story.

Brewing Projekt Blumpearry Puff Tart Sour, 4.86% ABV. Pours thick hazy purple, with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue instead of lacing. Nose is blueberry, dark fruit (plum), and vanilla. Taste is quite sweet and slightly tart blueberry, pear, and plum, with vanilla. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth with great carbonation. Overall an outstanding milkshake pastry sour, something Brewing Projekt excels at.

Agreed! I think it's my favorite Christmas present.

 

First of all, I absolutely love that beer, which is definitely my favorite Drekker beer, and that food looks so amazing! I have heard that album, and will listen to it more this evening! I am absolutely in mourning over the loss of Alexi Laiho. I have been listening to Children of Bodem constantly since Monday. I am such a big fan of Alexi. I am so sad that he is no longer with us.

Not a bad session IPA. Not wow, but no distinct flaws either. Can see getting this semi-regular , during the heat* of summer.

* Here in the outer outskirts of Bingladesh, that's not always guaranteed , but let's pretend.
