Nosferatu, a red IPA by Great Lakes Brewing Company, has a good bite.

If you have a friend in PA who can send you The Shape of Hops to Come from Neshaminy Creek, you'll likely be very happy.

I imagine this has already been put out there, but in August stone put out a rebrew of ruin 10 called "stone ruined again"... I imagine there's some grocer out there still carrying this.

Yes. Like the post below, I would recommend Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. Bigfoot is a bitter, big beer... and for me it's fantastic (but it certainly isn't for everyone... and the loud personality took a long time to grow on me). It's annual release is right about now too. Keep in mind that there is sweetness to it though. You can try aging it as well (or buying old stock in stores), and that will change the balance of the beer. Personally, I don't get totally consistent results with how it ages, but I usually perceive it in the opposite way from many people. For me, more often than not, the bitterness lingers but the malt richness dies down with age. Some might state the opposite. If you like the bitterness in Bigfoot, but not the rich body, give Sierra Nevada Torpedo a shot. It's not as alcoholic as what you seem to be looking for in an IPA, but for me it has a beautiful clean bitterness.

I had a Yeti on draught today. It's pretty bitter.

This week Lord Hobo “Godmother” truly excellent, and revisited Victory “Dirtwolf”, excellent as well.

    Hi all -

    Been a minute!

How great is brooklyn’s seasonal black chocolate stout (seasonal)?

Wish they did it as a regular.

Hope you’re all well out there.

Didn't read the whole thread but saw some nice suggestions early on - resin, 2xipa, and most definitely stone sublimely self righteous. Allow me a few minutes to think on this and try to add some to the conversation, I love bitter beers also OP.

Okay, so apologies if these have been mentioned. Fat heads head hunter is a great one ( though technically a standard IPA at 7.5%) Great lakes - lake erie monster and dank demon, perhaps Columbus creeper (though not one that i personally love).
