I hope the Anny beer is a 13% quintuple-hopped, HDHC to the third power, sweet melon bomb of a TIPA.
    You guys deserve it.

At the risk of sounding like a noob (I have the photos to prove otherwise) have they ever canned this beer with a sticker?

They have not. It was only released in full wrap “proper” cans years ago. Back when Hop Showers and AGE also had their own “proper” cans.

Threes put some DDH broccoli up for shipping yesterday, scrolled through OH’s Instagram and couldn’t find the last time they brewed it. Any idea on the canning date?

I saw pallets of DDH Broc on the sidewalk yesterday... Maybe they're just brewing it for third party sales.

You know what’s kinda nuts? @jrnyc not that long ago I had to meet up with you just to get a 4-pack of ACE and now I can get 8 different OH cans from a store barely 10-minutes from my house at brewery price. And, crazy part, not even going to get them because I want to wait(!) to see if they’ll get any of these beers they’re releasing this week.

i had to pick up the 2021>2020 IPA for obvious reasons.. didn't actually care what it would taste like to be honest, just wanted it. solid offering.. nelson and cashmere shine through the melange of hops on this one.

Just another day in paradise, am I right?

A little over 3 years ago I started out as just a lowly brew boy at our only location in BK. A year later I relocated to Western NY to open our second location in the Finger Lakes, as well as help spearhead our mixed ferm and spontaneous beer program. Look how far we’ve come!

From the additions of DC and Domino, to finally putting out our first mixed ferm bottles, I cant even begin to describe how proud I feel to watch us grow.

To all those who helped get us here and all the fans who’ve been riding with us the whole way, we thank you.

Big shout out to the fam at @otherhalfnyc@otherhalf.flx @otherhalfdc and @otherhalfdominopark

Thanks to @jwakefield for lifting weights, and letting Maria @jwbmic do all the hard work. Here’s to many more thoughts of sunshine and palm trees.
    --
Thanks to @felipe_higgins for leading the team up north and introducing this favorite. Felipe was a part of our production team in Brooklyn before he packed his bags and moved to the Great White North to lead the way @otherhalfflx and delve into establishing our burgeoning mixed culture program.

Florida Plates Imperial IPA (8%) with Peach and Pineapple in friendship with the @jwakefieldbrewingcrew. Brewed up with Golden Promise, oats, spelt and some milk sugar along with Citra and Simcoe hops. $20 per 4 pack.

For sale at 10am on curbside for pick up after 12.

    Melon is the new 'tose

edit: to that point though, I'm really surprised OH hasn't run with the "marshmallow IPA" of some others.

Thoughts on some recent BK releases:

DDH Citra + Strata -- all yeasty melon, very little hop character, muffled, disappointing. Looks slightly oxidized as well. Others were saying this was good but I have to hard disagree.

Enjoy the Juice -- even more melon, but the Strata actually comes through nicely. Interesting pine bittering on the back end, I think that's the Kohatu. Pours a murky orange-brown (more oxidation?).

Mouthful of Diamonds -- awesome appearance and aroma (smells like it's gonna be a Nelson bomb!), but on the palate... somewhat muted. A tease. Excellent mouthfeel, one of the softest beers I've had in a while.

Things Just Happen, as They Do -- still a bit of green astringency on this one, but this has to be the best of the bunch. Bit of lovely hop burn (separate from astringency), and the touch of lactose creaminess really accentuates the Citra+Riwaka combo.
