    I am looking at Bikini Beer, All Occasions IPA, and Aun Mas A Jesus in 12oz bottles right now at my bottle shop. They exist.

    Well, that is the dude's point. They are imports not domestic.

    I have always felt fortunate to live near CCB. After reading this thread, and I am sure JR is reading also, I am even more pleased CCB saves its efforts for its brews. Keep the customer happy. Arrogance doesn't sell squat. Your dad taught you well, grasshopper. A Cuban sandwich and a cold one beats a NYC attitude any day. Evil, indeed.

    Dammit. You beat me to it. After reading half the thread I thought the same thing.

    Everyone hating on the man (besides for JVR of course) responsible for Blaeber and quality entertainment on the trading forum

    "FT:Off self locals::ISO:Blaeber '09 750ml x2"

    FOR SHAME!

    Something can be factually wrong without being a lie.

    Isn't Cantillon responsible for Blabaer?

    Yes. That's what JVR referred to, Jean Van Roy the Cantillon brewer. But Blaeber is made specifically for Jeppe's bottle shop in Copenhagen by Cantillon and is the only place in the world that it can be purchased from.

    Not at all. I was just clarifying what I said. JVR was cryptic. Didn't mean to to come off sarcastic. Was trying to respond while watching TV. Not always the best choice

    Jeppe (the brewer) got on here a week or so ago to personally argue with someone who posted something similar (but in a slightly less... constructive way). He says that his costs are really high, and that he doesn't make very much money on his beer (15 cents per can of hipster, for example), which is hilarious... because how many cans of hipster has he sold? Also said something about how it's because there is an extra middle man in the distro process across the pond and back... or something. Told us that he doesn't drive a nice car, has kids, etc. That very night, I went out and had a hipster ale, because I wanted to give ET another shot. Blech. Never Again. Did have a Mikeller RednWhite, and that was awesome though.

    INB4 he comes on here and starts trying to make people feel guilty for having opinions on his pricing, like he did last time... or before this gets locked.

    Are they actually a gypsy brewer? Does he brew every batch of beer himself? Using the term gypsy brewer for Evil Twin is kind of a slap in the face to Dann Paquette who actually brews all the beer for Pretty Things.

    The price of Evil Twin's beer has kept me from buying an ounce. No way it will taste as good as it should for the cost.

    To answer your question: "Actually, my idea of brewing is pretty simple. I don’t care too much about the process, about what yeast or if I do it the right way. The only thing I care about is the result, like what comes out of it. And I don’t care if I have to do it one way or the other. I know what I like and I always make beers to drink myself. I see no reason not to. If I can make it easier for myself to make beer that’s good, why not do it."

    or: "I like the idea of opening my own brewery at one time, but I like the way I do it right now. I make the recipe and I discuss the recipe with the brewer, and if he has input, I’m open to it. I can’t see myself in a brewery, brewing every day, cleaning tables and stuff like that. I like to make the recipes and to do some brewing sometime. I don’t want to do it as the only thing. I like the whole thing about building the band and doing all the events."

    They shouldn't have deleted the thread where he defended himself, as it would have negated the need for this one.
