Havent stopped by yet. But their outdoor seating is right next to the train tracks. Should be a nice view when the Amtrax or Metrolink passes by. :thinking_face:wonder how far the station is from Radiant?

I think those tracks are for freight only.

Picked up their second Westy “That Track Is A Groove” and it straight bangs! No joke, this is a top five West Coast to me. It’s so damn tropical and clean. The only problem I have is the long name. How will the neckbeards order one at the bar? “Can I have a Track Groove please?” Woo ha!

We understand the importance of date codes and 100% are planning to get them going as quickly as we can; at the moment, we don't have the equipment. We'll be mitigating the issue by constantly rotating brands at first, so you don't need to wonder which batch of a certain beer is on the shelf. If we can't get a date coder in the near future, we may sticker the Paktechs.

Andy is correct, those are freight use only. It seems to be a spur line, never more than 10 or so cars long and you'll see the same train go back and forth on the same day.

As for opening on-site, we're not ready to make this weekend happen. Working feverishly to (safely) welcome you all in the very near future, though.

Radiant is now in distribution, for those here in the west valley who love fresh beer but hate traffic! I think most accounts got every release.

I wanted to try the double Hazy but it was $5.99 a can at Bradley’s in Tustin. Pass.

Isn’t that a fairly normal price for a single can of craft DIPA?

Not really. I’d say $3.99-4.99 (while Pizza Port often chimes in at $2.99). I’ve spent $5.99 on something like Toppling Goliath, but they’ve earned it.

Ya, it’s debatable. Pizza Port definitely wins for pricing by far.
Generally in the sf bay area I’d say single cans of notable dipa’s are generally $5-6. Even the 4 packs are $20-24. (Not saying I’m happy about it :grinning:).

Yeah, it sucks. I was looking at a stove pipe of Knee Deep Simtra the other day for $9.99 and it was next to a stove pipe Two Hearted that was $3.99. I don’t get it, and I prefer Two Hearted at that.

@RaulMondesi We're at $20 for a 4-pack of This is Happening, the double hazy IPA, which I think is in-line with other SoCal hazy DIPAs.

There are a number of pretty major differences between those two beers and breweries, so a fairly large price spread makes sense. Simtra is a specialty 11% triple IPA with Simcoe & Citra hops, made by a large micro/small regional brewery (I can't find barrelage info from a quick search); Two Hearted is a core 7% all-Centennial single IPA made by one of the top 10 largest craft breweries. There are large differences in the amount of malt & hops used, price/lb. between those hop varietals, economies of scale realized by Bell's on raw materials, packaging materials, labor efficiencies, even freight on finished beer and bargaining power to squeeze distributor margins, etc. Those all add up.

And no question, Pizza Port has great pricing.

Yeah, during my last trips to Sacramento, 9.99 was the going price for that tallboy of Simtra everywhere.

Has anyone seen That Track is a Groove at any of the shops in Anaheim? Radiant won’t be open yet when I’m in area doing pick ups on Friday. I don’t think Windsor has it.

Not Anaheim, but Wine Country had it in a few days ago. Maybe that’s relative to you since you’ve got “562” in your name...

Bradley’s in Tustin had it last time I was in. Not far from Anaheim.
