Anyone have the opportunity to visit Alpine Beer Outpost? I read where they are now a Beer/Pizza place with an open outdoor patio with several beers on tap.
I would not drive all the way out there to just visit the Alpine Outpost, so yes, I am waiting for Mcilhenney Brewing. However, that being said, and I could be wrong on this, but I don't think the guy who screwed over Pat Mcilhenney, Mike Hinkley, is still with Green Flash. I mean, if that is the reason you don't like Green Flash anymore. Sorry, but I still drink Alpine Nelson on tap when I can find it.
Are we talking about the old Alpine pub (and now their tasting room) or the restaurant down the street? Either way, bring on Mchilhenny brewing ASAP!
I know, necro bumping this thread since I don't want to make a new one, but this pic (not mine) has shown up today floating around a few beer groups.
I know, I hate myself for it, as a penance, I will drive down to Alpine this weekend for a pint or 3.
Guessing that upcoming releases might include a ba barleywine called Terrific, an imperial stout called Mavin Glavin, a Simcoe/Amarillo IPA called Dynamic Duo and IPAs called OMFG and Wicked Dude.
