I’m working in the garage today...some furniture and rugs go back into the house now that the new grout has dried, subject to the boss’s redecorating approval...an IPA - Other Half’s “Loose Diamonds”:



A completely fine, easy drinking NEIPA. I could drink 2 in a row. I can’t remember an OH beer I didn’t like...Cheers y’all!

Big haze. Dehydrated piss yellow. Smells of lemonheads, lemon grass. Peach. Tangerine. Guava. White bread. Flavors follow the nose with stone fruit being a large aspect. Peach, plumcot. Thin looking but feeling LARRRGE. Big mouthfeel. Great carbonation. Even mix of tropical and general citron. Slight lingering in the mouth. Numbing quality to it. Honestly the thickness on this is hard to get down my only quip.

I’ve been looking at this one for a while and am not disappointed.


Apologies to those sensitive to gore. Cannibal Corpse dropped this song and that riff around 2:05 mark...........the best riff I’ve heard in a LONG time. Probably my favorite riff of theres in 30 years of being a band. Corpsegrinder > Chris Barnes.

my god. They got stale since the last few albums but the arrest/ departure of OBrian as not set them back.

 

Yep, I will post pics later this spring - lots of sanding and re-varnishing in my future! She will look great though! For a 65 year old hot molded boat, she is not bad at all!
