Notch Brewing (2021)

This happened to me recently when Notch accidentally mixed up my order and sent me some Biersal. Typically I'm not the biggest fan of smoked beers, but this one was incredibly subtle and very enjoyable. And Notch being the great brewery they are told me to keep the free beer and then proceeded to still send me my actual order.

 

I'm also considering the subscription, but did my first mail order Weds night (a case of 6 unique four packs).

Since it's UPS I'm a little disappointed I'm not seeing a tracking #. I'm hoping to get it today but have no way of knowing. Swansea City have a huge game in less than two hours! I need a kolsch to enjoy it properly.

 

That's the plan, eventually. The pandemic delayed a few things, but the bottles are half-liters we imported from Germany.

Thanks. Turns out it hasn't been shipped yet and won't be until Monday. I know you don't guarantee purchases the following day but maybe a note on the site that demand is high now and orders may take 2-3 days. Was really looking forward to some Notch after a dry January and now I won't touch it until the following weekend.

 

didn't even consider how the superb owl might factor into this as I do not watch American Handegg anymore. Go Brady though?

I'm in the same boat as you. Placed an order Wednesday night and no dice today. Normally I'd be fine with having to wait a few extra days, but in this case I'm worried about overnight temps being in the teens next week. Hoping that UPS doesn't let their warehouse go below freezing, but not feeling great about it.

Nope. I watched NFL once upon a time but I drifted away these past 5 years. Kinda boring and slow and way too many ads and outcomes are almost completely random given how few plays actually occur each game and how awkwardly the rules are applied.

I took the response to mean Notch hasn't even handed off to UPS yet, hence not getting a tracking #.

I hope the cans reflect the magic of the crowler I had last year. One of the top 3 beers I had in 2020.

They probably haven't yet. Though I'm referring to them shipping ours on Monday and the beer having to endure sub 20 degree temps Mon night / Tues morning in UPS's care.

We'll see. I just had another delivery survive below freezing temps. Hopefully it'll be fine, and if not, maybe the brewery would help us out.

 

I got my subscription box- 4 Kolsch-4 Here comes a regular- 4 Tmavy. I assume they would all be the same? Looking forward to drinking some lower abv stuff during the Superbowl!

No, I assume everyone's subscription would be the same- meaning all the boxes would contain the same assortment- I am curious if that is the case. I expected 3-4 different beers

Ah- I see your confusion- when I said that I assumed "they" would all be the same, I meant the composition of the subscription boxes. Meaning, that all boxes contain the same assortment of beers. It obviously makes sense that they would be the same mix, I am just curious if that is indeed the case.

 

I think what he was saying was that, no, he didn't expect 12 of the same beer, he expected 3-4 different beers (which he acknowledges is what he got). And in his original post, he was asking if everyone else got the same mix as he did, as that is his assumption.

Just my read though...

 

I don’t know why they wouldn’t be because then you’d have people potentially annoyed by what others got vs theirs. I asked whether you’d seen/heard something that would lead you to that assumption.
